Meet Storm!
Storm came to us due to extremely unfortunate, unforeseen circumstances and has been undergoing heartworm treatment since she arrived.
Storm is crate, leash and house trained, friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes and absolutely adores the humans in her life, love and affection are her favourite treat!

We are nearing the very end of heartworm treatment, after which Storm will be spayed and ready to start looking for her furever home.

Storm is a gentle giant and would be a perfect fit with other dogs, ideally a bed inside to sleep on and lots of love on offer.

Sweet Miss River is looking for her forever home.
She is a real thinker and would excel in an obedience/ performance home. She has a sensible and calm nature around older dogs and is a lovely confident young pup.

A morning run to start the day 🥰

It's common within the rescue world to see all the amazing dogs getting rehomed but often seen less are the sad stories.
Happy was his name and happiness was his game, until today when suddenly my big man was not so happy.
Right on the tail end of his heartworm treatment and things looking very promising for his furever home and devastation struck.
Due to complications from heartworm treatment Happy left us today.
I don't care how many times it happens, losing a friend never gets easier.
In commemoration a fruit tree will be planted on top of Happy, gone but never forgotten 🥰🥰🥰

Meet Happy!

I am Happy to say... see what I did there? That is is Baz's absolute best mate!
The two absolutely adore each other, it must be that they bonded over their cravings for attention and jumping 6 foot fences!

Happy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment just like his best pal and will be looking for his furever home very soon!

It has been quite some time since our last post so how about a quick update!

We now have full access to 20 acres just outside of Townsville for continued use in housing all our little canine pals while finding them their furever home!

Meet Baz,
He came to us heartworm positive, jumping six foot fences at his first foster home and just a down right ball of energy!
I couldn't be happier to say that Baz has been an absolute champion through his treatments and has responded gloriously to obedience training 🥰

Baz needs companionship in his life, all he really wants is to be with his human and his pack mates, having a play and having a cuddle!

The doggo formally known as Pinky has received the best Christmas present any of us could have asked for.
A new name and a new home!
Now Emmegen (Emmey) has a new bother and by the looks of it, best friend!
Merry Christmas to all and thanks to everybody who has continued to support us by liking and sharing, you all helped to make this happen!
