Welcome Jax to our puppy manners and socialisation 3 week intensive program.

If you're thinking about getting a dog or have a brand-new puppy, there's something super important in your dog’s life you need to take advantage of. It's called the critical socialisation period, and it happens when your pup is around 5 to 12 weeks old. This is a really big deal in your dog’s development, and understanding what's going on during this time is key.

Your puppy at this age is a sponge, anything new is easily accepted! If your new puppy is not exposed to new environments, noises, smells and other animals before this age they are much more likely to fear it.

So, if you're a new dog owner or have a young pup, make the most of this time to help your dog grow up confident and happy.

Meet Oakley. He liked to pull on the leash while his owner was walking him and quite simply did whatever he wanted to do. Now he is learning how to walk without pulling and is learning to follow the rules. He still has a lot to learn but is showing improvement on a daily basis!!
