We are a small family business providing dog enrichment products to dogs lovers like us. You must be thinking 'what is a snuffle mat!!??'.

Our struggle to find good quality enrichment products locally inspired us to start this little business. We were thinking the exact same thing when our dog trainer suggested we purchase one for our puppy. A snuffle mat is a dog enrichment product that provides your dog with mental stimulation. It is an interactive puzzle that will engage your dogs mind and body. The snuffle mat encourages natural

foraging behaviour and encourages them to sniff out their food. Snuffle mats are also useful to slow down fast eaters. A snuffle mat keeps dogs occupied which can help avoid them being bored and engaging in destructive behaviour. How do I use a snuffle mat? Simply hide some tasty treats or their dry food dinner in the mat and let your dog snuffle away to find them! To clean simply hose them off and allow them to dry in the sun for a few hours. We recommend that you supervise your dog while they are having fun with their snuffle mat and take it away once they have found all their tasty treats so that they do not have the opportunity to destroy the mat. Like all dog toys, swallowing of the material could cause harm to your dog so please ensure your provide full supervision.

Those squirrels in the log my 2 dogs LOVE them! they will squeak them for hours and they have lasted a long time without any damage. I highly recommend to anyone just make sure to get correct size for your dog.

Meet the inspiration behind Boredom Busters. This is Lulu our 20 week old Belgian Malinois. She is a very high drive pup who is always looking for something to keep her brain stimulated. Our dog trainer suggested we invest in a snuffle mat to engage her brain, encourage her foraging skills and to give us a small break 😉

We searched locally to find a snuffle mat but couldn't find one! After much research and lots of trial and error with materials, we created a snuffle mat that Lulu loved and that was able to withstand her excitement!

Knowing that their were probably pet owners out there that needed this snuffle mat as much as us, our little business was born!

We hope your pets will enjoy our snuffle mats as much a Lulu does and keep an eye out for us at the Strand where we might ask your dog to have a try of one of our snuffle mats!!
