Good afternoon. If you contact me now for training, I'll ask you to be flexible as I have a busy couple of weeks ahead and I'm away in August for 10 days. Also, I'd like to add that if you have a very reactive dog and can't get it to work after my first visit, I'll come again at a much better price to refresh your memory. It's a lot to take in and do, especially if the dog is full-on. Remember, emergency services and defence personnel receive a 10% discount, so please let me know. Good morning! I know puppies are cute and snuggly, and all. They grow bigger, and suddenly you struggle to control their walk, jumping, barking, chewing, and it all gets too much. Don't let this situation make you feel like you can't control your pet. There's no "I left it too late, I should have taken my dog to puppy school." We can still teach him new behavior and patterns to follow. It might take longer, but the work pays off. What I'd like to focus on is this kind of scenario, where the dog has no training, is a big strong dog, and you can't control it.

Let's face it, many people struggle with walking their dogs. The dogs pull, go different directions, sniff constantly, walk while sniffing, and display aggression and barking. I'm offering a deal: I'll walk with you and teach you how to recondition your dog to walk better. Remember, you'll need to practice this every time you walk your dog; it won't change overnight. The cost is $60 for a walk training session.

Morning all! I'll be away from Tuesday, 10 June to 19 June, so if you need help this weekend, I can help. Alternatively, I'll restart on 20 June. My prices are $150 for session one, which involves lots of practical and problem-solving depending on the issue. If a follow-up is needed, it's $80. I'm also happy to work more frequently if you need more guidance; we can work out a price to suit.

Good afternoon! I'd like to share some information about my small business. A couple of years ago, I decided to walk dogs for people who needed assistance and to earn extra money. At the same time, I enrolled in an online dog training, care, and psychology course and applied the techniques learned while working with dogs. Although I didn't have the opportunity to complete a full NDTF accredited training course (which I may consider in the future, as it offers more possibilities), I successfully applied the knowledge gained from the international online training. In my view, practical experience is essential to becoming a good trainer, in addition to theoretical knowledge. My business focuses on addressing issues such as reactive dogs, misbehaviour, jumping, basic obedience, and puppy wellbeing. TAIL MOTIONS
Many people associate a dog wagging its tail with friendliness; however, this is not always the case. If it is held
straight up or curled over at the tip and moving quickly from side to side in small rapid movements, it is a sign of
arousal.
Other tail signals include:
 Relaxed tail– dog is relaxed and comfortable.
 Light wagging– welcoming.
 Broad circle wagging– dog is interested.
 Slow wagging– doesn’t quite understand what you are trying to teach him (e.g. in training)
 Fast wagging– excited.
 Hanging horizontal but relaxed– the dog is interested in something, attentive.
 Hanging horizontal but stiff– confrontational (such as confronting an intruder).
 Tail between legs– submission or fear.
 Tail raised and slowly moving– dog is on guard.
 Upright tail - sign of dominance.
 Upright tail curled over at end– demonstrates trust and self-confidence.

EATING AND DRINKING
A dog’s physical well-being and longevity is directly affected by its nutritional state and eating habits.
Dogs are members of the Carnivora order and have developed in the main to gain their nutrition from a diet
based on meat. Wild dogs also naturally consume grass, roots and berries as well as meat that they have
hunted or scavenged. Subsequently, domesticated dogs do have the ability to gain some of their nutrition from
plant sources, but the main stay of a dog’s diet should be based on quality animal proteins.
Wild dogs are opportunistic feeders; if prey comes along, they will kill it and then gorge themselves on the
carcass. They may not then eat for a number of hours or even days. Some larger breeds of domesticated dog
prefer to eat larger, less frequent meals. This may well be due to the natural feeding habits of their ancestors
who had to consume large quantities of meat, quickly in one sitting. Smaller domesticated dogs may need to eat
much smaller amounts of food on a more regular basis when compared to larger breeds.
Most commercially available dog food is made from both plant and animal proteins to ensure that the dog is
receiving appropriate levels of nutrition.

Good afternoon! Training a dog is much easier within the first six months of their life, as that's when their habits and future behavior are shaped. If you have a puppy, consider taking them to puppy school or getting involved then. They may be cute now, but they'll develop a mind of their own as they grow up.

*Between 49 days-12 weeks the puppy’s brain and mental abilities are fully formed, but the puppy lacks ‘life
experience’. Current Research has shown that behaviours can be shaped and modified most easily at this time
when learning is occurring most quickly. Training is thought to increase the capacity to learn by increasing
numbers of brain cells in the appropriate regions of the brain**
