Hello all, you might have noticed a name change from The Pawtrait Gallery to Pretty Paw Prints. This is because we are in the process of setting up a dedicated website to be able to purchase your prints through and will be working with Printify to be able to offer options for you to put your photo on a variety of different physical products.

To do that we needed to secure a domain name and unfortunately The Pawtrait Gallery was taken. So, Pretty Paw Prints was born and you will soon be able to find it at prettypawprints.com. Stay tuned for updates and thank you for supporting my small business.

Meet Rosie. Our second Labrador named Rosie and just as pretty. She loves nothing more than sleeping between Mum and Dad and adores drowning everyone in affection. She is very protective of her family and loves picking on her sisters, aka the cats. With love, of course. Meet Quakka. Quakka has passed over the Rainbow Bridge but knew how to live life to the fullest when he was with us. Raised by chickens, he believed he was one, although never quite understood why they didn't share his love of water. He found the love of his life in Princess, the Indian Runner, and lived out his final years in absolute free-range bliss. Meet Poppi. Destroyer of all things stuffed. Loves the concept of a walk over actually walking. Poppi enjoys sitting as close to you as possible and licking your hand, arm, elbow - anything she can get into her mouth. Poppi is a happy girl who just generally enjoys life to the fullest. Meet Rosie. Everyone's best friend and just happy to be included. The ultimate family dog, she loves dragging her Mum along on walks and dreams of being let off the leash to romp free with the local wallabies. It's never going to happen but a girl can dream. Meet Rainbow. Now, there are head turners and then there are head turners! Rainbow is an absolute show stopper and conversation starter all rolled into one gorgeous iridescently coiled beauty. Meet Buffy Mary. The sweetest of tweeters. She's a lovely little girl who is the apple of her Mum's eye. Buffy always knows how to make any day that much better and brighter. A good listener and always happy companion who is just so darn cute. Meet Gidget. Digger of holes, chewer of fences and all about self-care with her regular mud baths which her Mum ruins by washing it all off her to be allowed back in the house. Fortunately she's very cute and she's not afraid to use it. Gidget is an excellent cuddler and a very good listener. Meet the very sweet Henry. Henry has since passed over the rainbow bridge but in life he was a floof machine, generous with leaving behind his fluff everywhere he went for all to enjoy. He loved food, playing in water, food, being toweled down and food. Ferocious barker at windows at all who dared to pass by his yard he loved and was loved very much. This picture captures his whimsical side and from this picture several style were generated for his Mum to pick from to have as a memento of his adorable cuteness.

Wondering what kinds of styles for your print are available?

See these photos for examples for you to pick a favourite.

Some styles will lend themselves better to particular photos, but that will be something we can discuss when showing you the proofs. Other styles such as black and white, cartoon, 3D can also be offered on request. The following are our standard styles on offer:

FAQ:

1. How much does this service cost?
- $25 for one high resolution jpeg file

2. Do I get a physical canvas for this?
- No, you only receive a jpeg file which you can then print onto
whatever you like - canvas, paper, cushions, cups etc

3. How long will it take to get my print image?
- Between 1 to 3 days usually

4. How do I place an order?
- PM us with the photo/s and style of art you were wanting
- Also include which type of print you'd like - the image as is
from the photo or one with background removed and text
added
- The text you'd like to add it choosing that option

5. What kind of text can I add?
- Usually the name and if wanted date of birth/death
- Other short text can be added on request, like nicknames or a
sentiment

6. What if I don't like the picture supplied?
- You will usually be supplied with at least 3 different proofs to
go through and see which you prefer - these will have
watermarks on them
- If you don't like any of them or have changed your mind
about the style, then you can let us know during this process
and new prints will be created for you to review
- Only once you're completely happy with your print will you
be asked to pay for the print and you will receive the
watermark free, high resolution print as soon as you provide
proof of payment

7. What kind of photo should I provide?
- Clear, high resolution photos will give the best results
- Avoid complicated backgrounds or scenes - i.e. lots of figures
in the picture
- Overly dark or shadowed pictures
- All attempts will be made to "clean" up photos that don't
meet these requirements but this may impact the final print -
all of this will be discussed with you during the process and
proofs shared so you can make a judgement about whether
you're happy with the results

Our goal is to give you a precious, meaningful keepsake of your beloved family member. Every effort will be made to provide you an image that captures the heart of your pet, so we will be in touch during the process to ensure you're completely happy with the final print.
