The Nutty Orchard Preserves & Gourmet Pantry Items

The Nutty Orchard is a gourmet’s delight, 10 acres of pristine volcanic soils producing pesticide free fruits, herbs and vegetables including cherries and chestnuts and various heirloom fruits overlooking the vast Macedon Ranges in East Trentham. The produce has only just began to be used again for a limited boutique hand-made preserve range under the TNO banner. The range was established as a bu

siness in 2007, and the development, cooking and bottle washing was carried out by Tracey Williams. The Nutty Orchard Cookery School is conducted in my commercial kitchen and is usually a terrific day of fun, adventure into food and lots of learning. As my classes are all interactive each guest gets to take home the delights they have prepared on the day. These days the farm is coming back to it’s former glory and the cooking business has evolved into Polly’s Kitchen producing Old School Biscuits, Cakes and Pies and occasionally Confectionery. My signature range is always my iced Christmas Gingerbread Biscuits and Children’s party goodies. With the farm fruits some of the old ranges of preserves, The Nutty Orchard Jams, Jellies and flavored Honeys, Cordials, The Black Dog Creek range of ’sauces with bite’ or my Natural Muesli’s and Granola’s, Tea Blends, Bread Mixes and Pesto’s and Dips and seasonal fresh Fruits and Vegetables.
