Finally decided on a naming theme for our ten babies from our recent kidding, going with a “ice cream” theme. We are chasing the chocolate colour in some of our pygmys, very happy with the result from V A Raffaello our chocolate buck, Trinity St Nicholas chamoisee doeling and her white brother, Pine Creek Tanzanites grey agouti doelings, lot of colour in our paddocks atm

Took a step back in % chase chocolate colour, VA Marilyn Monrie/VA Raffa gave us one brown agouti, one black agouti, which would be awesome however they are both boys 🤦🏻‍♀️ oh well, after trying to raise the little premmie guy a week ago, we will happily settle for strong and healthy twin boys, choc boy first 3 photos, black agouti the last photo

Little guy took a plummett in temp for no reason we could see, rushed him to vets who got his temp back up, sent us home to do two hourly fluid injections if we couldnt get him to feed, so 10 am 12, 2 pm he kept fighting but 4 am he had passed. Buried with his 3 siblings, mother nature u sure now how to break hearts, rip little fella 🥲

Morning all from the little guy, day 5 today, i would b very happy with this weight but 20 grams is his “jenko sock coat”, but he didnt loose weight over night, is standing and still vocal, thanks to Wendy Evans who suggested i try some Anitone, i saw an improvement in his alertness after about three doses, will keep that up, mum still not rejecting him, if we can get him strong enuf i reckon she will take over feeding for me,

Still 5 grams below his birth weight but feeding every two hours and jenko is down a sock to help him maintain his temp.. still vocal and walking well 🤞
