ROYAL ADELAIDE SHOW 2024

My little princess exceeded all expectations at just her second show.

Was awarded Best Baby in the Terrier Group from a strong line up of babies all who were a lot older than 3.5 months of age, then went on to show her heart out for Baby In Show.

Not only do we have to pay $75 to DACO like all the BYB we pay annual fees and litter registrations to Dogs SA and our breeding is bound by rules and codes of ethics.

We spend hundreds of hours with our puppies from birth until the time they leave.

We are there for the entire whelping, and the puppies are raised in the home in a warm environment not outside to make their own warmth in the middle of winter.

Everyone thinks they can have a litter of puppies but doing it correctly and ethically is another level.

Happiest 14th Birthday to one of our earlier litters - Georgia x Leo.

There are not many of them still floating around but this beautiful gent Hugo fell on his feet when he was around 6 and his original family could no longer keep him and he came back to us and left the same day and went to THE BEST home with Keryn Branford.

He fell on his feet and has THE BEST life!

Thank you Keryn for loving Hugo and giving him the life he deserves 💙

Well what a busy week we have had!
First the 12th GSP National that SA hosted and yesterday the Royal Adelaide Show!

Our biggest winner at the National was our matriarch Esca Ch Atorae Escalante who won Best Neuter In Show.

And at the Royal…

Atorae Leclerc AI wins the Aust Bred Bitch class of 3 and then Reserve CC to the National BIS winner at just 16 months old.

We also had another star in the sporting ring!

Gracie who is an Esca/ Sailor pup was second with her team in the Fly Ball Competition at the Royal!

We had a fabulous Adelaide Royal Show which also incorporated the GSP Club’s 50th Anniversary Show.

Valencia was awarded Runner Up In Show.
Her baby Char was awarded Baby In Show
And her dad Tripp (not owned by us) was awarded Best In Show at the Champ Show and was the second best dog in the entire show at the Royal!!

Baby Oscar was awarded Baby of Breed at the Royal and Shimmer won the Baby Bitch class. Valencia was 2nd in Open Bitch, her first show back for 18 months.

This family purchased the last puppy from my litter in 2021.
They didn’t get a choice it was Sula or nothing.
Many people don’t like not having a choice, but this goes to show that all puppies are awesome regardless of whether it was your first pick or your only pick!
Messages like this make all the hard work raising puppies til 8 weeks of age worth it 💙
