The 18months old pup who licks 😝
The back of legs to be exact. It tickles and it is a covert mission as we never knew it was coming 😀

A pleasure to walk and to play with his energy endearing and I just loved to look into his hazel eyes 😍

I’m a bit late with the posts… Desmo stayed with us for a few nights, settled in so well and was an absolute pleasure to have!

6 years old and already grey! Wylie is even tempered and relaxed. Except at meal times, that boy can jump!!
Wylie was with us for a weekend stay, fit right in and was always willing to share his bed 😝

* He is the dog that thinks he is a human.
* He is loyal… to humans and a tennis ball!
* He will go to ANY lengths to play!!

This guy needed some serious cuddles at times showing signs of anxiety missing his family. It just goes to show we will go to any length to make a home for our pups but we must sometimes accept that it isn’t their home. So we do our absolute best in their time of need.

We have had a fun filled week with these guys!
Having 3 dogs at a time is not something we do often. It’s thought out dynamics, behaviours and family activities.
I was so happy that they all got on SO well everyone was happy.

You guessed it….. 18months old and already has matched Scouts size. But I has it a guess it’s mostly her fur ☺️.
We were so impressed with her mannerism and obedience at such an early age.
Like many others very she is obsessed with a ball and loved to re locate socks around the house 😝 but full of fun!!

Always strategically placing yourself in the middle of the hallway or any main thoroughfare in the house you really did make your mark on us!

Sunny enjoyed a stay where there were a few pups coming and going- he found a friend no mater their shape or size!!
Such a happy pup which is found perfectly in the photos 😜

THE PUGS ☺️
J A Z Z Y & F R A N K I E
We don’t always get such a particular breed of dog as a pug. It was a learning experience and one I took on humbly.
They have special care needs like over heating quickly, special diets and on hot days this was something I was worried about.
Little Jazzy had anxiety- another cause for me to feel extra cautious. Trying to do what ever it took to make our new friends comfortable, safe and settled.
This heightened sense of awareness made me remember the importance of .
My goal is to create that space of belonging for any dog that comes through these (very nice) French doors!
By the end of their stay these two fit right in ☺️Frankie even made a new friend with a mini groodle- much to Jazzys distaste 😂

** Appreciation Post** 🙏🏼
I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our neighbours! 🏡
I’m sure there are times when our little (or big) fur guests are barking or crying at the back door if we are out for a bit or even when sweet Rolland the 40kg Rottweiler jumps over the 6ft colourbond fence into their yard 😳.
You guys are all so supportive of us, our little business with having a variety of dogs at one time and the chaos it can ensue 🤪.
As pet sitters we try to be home as much as we can but sometimes that is not possible so we always appreciate the messages telling me what our guests are up to! 🐕 🐶
You guys are the absolute BEST.
You know who you are! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵🩷💜

W O L F as the name suggests… a friend to all “Right Copper 😉”
This little puppy that has the undivided attention from the children.
Mostly because he demands it.
But still his energetic demeanour allows no room for a good photo or complacency.

If he wasn’t with the kids he was doing burnouts in the backyard with Scout. This boy can move!!

A whirlwind, wild ride at but so worth it!

This 13 year old girl meandered through the house with a tip toe, then plonked down with a thud…. And didn’t move for anyone- except meal times. 🫢
A gentle and placid pup, she tolerated exuberant dogs and kids on the daily.
We would walk her up and down the street which took a good while but she loved it when the kiddos where around most of all 😍

The gift that keeps giving, Sunny loves to roughhouse around with Scout and any other willing participant. So much cuteness but with the occasional judgy head tilt!!

Sunny has stayed with us a a few times and he is a part of the family. Although I’ve had to hide all the tennis balls because he loves to bring them inside and bounce them around non stop.
……. Can’t wait for his return as I’ve forgotten where I hid them 🤪

Dude you ate my bromeliad…. Again!
But your still cute sweet girl.
Your early morning pandemonium with Scout and Ollie was like constant tap dancing around the house 😵‍💫.
She grew to love our kids and our little friends more and more after being a bit nervy at first. Poor girl… they scare me too 😂
And those facial expressions though 🤭

2nd time staying with us and you showed even more confidence,obedience and social skills ❤️
We can’t wait for your hoomans to go away again 😁

16month old bundle of energy… I mean love 🤣
Ollie just played and played. He loved to wrestle with the big dogs, in the dirt then found himself a nice cozy spot on our white bed spread 😏.

You my friend can come again… just don’t jump up onto the bed and on my head while I’m sleeping ok!!

Our 4 legged alarm system:
Knock at the door- Stella is there.
Car drives by- Stella is there.
Neighbour Bob checks his letterbox- Stella is there.
Bump your knee on the cupboard- Stella is there.
Nothing gets passed this sweet, cute, fluffy 1 year old!!
Play button on repeat, but in saying that she is good value for a snuggle. 🥰
Scouty boy is already lost without you!

R U E came to join the party for a few days. She is 18months old, a big Beauty of a pup who still has absolutely no idea of her size 😝
Initially very shy towards humans and other dogs, she quickly decided she liked all of us and in true style gave us all of her.
-She spoilt or tormented (depends on who you ask) us with jumps and cuddles at a moments notice.
- She roughhoused the other dogs for constant opportunity for play.
- She always wanted one of us around her.
While you didnt like to share your food and got totally confused with the fact the other dogs needed to eat… without you around 🤣 we can’t wait to have you back ☺️

Let’s be honest- He was not so sure for a while there. He was inside wanting to be outside, outside wanting to be inside.
But that first photo after about an hour together out the back… He gave me a lil high five!
I’m always so pleased when a nervy fur friend comes around 🥰

T E D D Y came back for a couple of days this week.
This young man loves the company of people… No matter where in the house 😝.

We first had Teddy as a young pup.
Even now he is only one year old we have noticed a big difference in his behaviour.
Puppy’s are hard work but persistence, consistency and ground rules pay dividends!
He still chews toys and shoes, he still digs but he understands commands to stop and is re directed to a more controlled doggy friendly play 🐕

What was more entertaining was that he gave Scout a dose of his own medicine for unwavering high volume play 🤪
Scout was exhausted for days after his visit ☺️

A repeat guest, she was back to visit us for about 3 weeks.
Her preferences are: sleeping on the lounge, food, runs at the beach or oval, sleeping on the lounge, food, long but short walks, sleeping on the lounge, food and wrestling with scout 🤗☺️

You fit right in young lady- except when you hog the lounge 🙄

Does anyone know how to say “oli off the lounge!” Or “Oli out of the kitchen” in Spanish ?
…. Me neither. 🤭
And I am pretty sure this little guy took full advantage of the language barrier
Oli stayed with us for the night and while he didn’t really know what we were saying half the time 😝 he knew how to get snuggles on the lounge and of course a good game of fetch needs no words!!!!!

E M L Y 1 year old pup who followed followed Scout everywhere. I swear if she could cuddle him and make him a best friend charm she would!!

-She is a breed that is the perfected characteristics of labradoodle she is loyal, intelligent and hypoallergenic…… and she loves her food and anyone else’s for that matter !!

- Emly was visiting for a few days while her mumma was away. She is a precious little thing and will hopefully be a mumma herself one day!!

ROLLAND

This guy! When walking him people will stop and pat him. kids say “ohhh wow look at that big dog”. He just takes it calmly in his stride.
Things change when he hears his lead or food bowl being collected for the planned event though. He becomes this bouncing oompaloomp ☺️.
Rolland your such a sweetheart and we love having you come and stay!!
