Have only met Kyrie a couple of times before and this is the first time I have been here when the owner wasn't home
Kyrie was terrified of me when we first met and the whole grooming experience wasn't much better.
He does have anxieties about most things that are new.
As you can see he is now a completely different dog with me.
This is Blue's last wash with us.
Not because she is sassy and gives me attitude everytime.
Not even because she will argue with me and let everyone in the neighborhood know of her disapproval no matter how early it is.
And not even because she bites me when I will not listen to her nonsense and do what needs to be done despite her best efforts to discourage me. 😁
No.
This is her last wash with us because she will be moving out of the area.
With her sassy attitude.
Hopefully she somewhat behaves with the new groomer.
This is Bohdi.
Aparently he hates being blow dried and is terrified of any type of blowers.
Yeah ok... 🤣
This is Ollie.
The first time we met Ollie he had to be muzzled and didn't like anything about the whole grooming experience.
Couldn't even towel dry him without him trying to attack.
Not just a warning.
He was serious and hitting me hard with the muzzle on.
He has been getting so much better every wash day.
We weren't sure how he would be with me as the owners weren't home this time.
But look at him now!
He still gives a bit of attitude every now and then and just argues with me.
I think he really likes the bath now.
How my morning starts with Blue.
🙄😁😄
When you hit the right spot.
Champ just being his usual self.
Skepta loves his regular bath day.
Just a few to wash at one house.
Mia is one of South Coast Animal Rescues dogs that has been in foster care.
We have washed her once before.
She was extremely timid and scared when I first met her about 4 weeks ago.
She could only just handle the whole grooming experience but still came up to me afterwards but still very unsure.
This time you could tell she remembered me but was still a little timid as was expected.
But we weren't expecting her to be this good with everything.
Brush, wash and blowdry.
Even wanting to come to me without being terrified.
This wash was to get her all freshened up for the new owners who are picking her up on Monday.
Yes she has been adopted!😁
New customer.
Gigi is a 2yo Guide Dog.
Beautiful girl.
But I think she's faulty.
No hair came out when I brushed her.😳
If you know Labradors.
This is rare.
There is no middle ground with Snuffles.
It's either nothing or mental.😳🙄😆
Thought it was a stick up my customers driveway.
Some people call it a nope rope... 🤣
So...
I was told that Blue has exploded.
They weren't lying.
So after over an hour of brushing and blowing out the fur.
Washing and blowdry.
But also the attitude, slapping with the paws, biting and vocalizing her disapproval.🙄😆
But she now looks like a new dog.😁
Either Ollie is broken or he has finally worked out this isn't such a bad thing.
Or he want's me to let my gard down for a surprise attack.🤔🙄🤣
He will bite if pushed.
But this is the best he has ever been and the quietest.
Usually barking, growling and snapping at me.
Couldn't even dry him with a towel any other time.
With the owners training and me not putting up with his nonsense.
He is getting to be a much calmer and relaxed old boy.
Well maybe a big puppy dog.🤔🙄😆
Just another one of the many customers whose owners thought their dog couldn't get bathed without them being terrified and trying to get away.
I think we have only washed Harvey 4 or 5 times.
He has been getting calmer with every wash.
Blue is a special kind if special.
I couldn't get a proper video of her in the bath this time as she was being extra special.😆
So this is her before and after the bath being as calm as she possibly can.🙄
Another one of our customers who used to be absolutely terrified of hoses, water and the whole bathing experience.
And now... 😁
