What IS trapezoidal distortion? How could it be affecting your horses performance?

Here is a great example in this skull. Something happened to this horse that shifted all the bones in its skull, and then the rest of the body had to compensate. Look closely and you will see that none of the planes are parallel or perpendicular. Less extreme versions of this could be why your horse is *better* in one direction than the other. Is it fixable? Depends!!

Last year we had some fantastic courses with Dr Gellman about proprioception and posture and how dentistry and the TMJ affects posture and performance.

This year she is doing a course for riders on recognising postural issues as potential root causes of poor performance.
