Hi GlamFam,

I am sadly writing this post to let you all know that I have made the tough decision to close the doors at GlamourTails from the end of this month 😢

I unfortunately have found over the last (almost 2 years) since having the twins that running the business has become quiet difficult for me when it comes to being available for my family. The struggle of running a business I need to be in physically while having the juggle of young children is just a bit of a tough one so I have decided to find a new venture that suits my very chaotic life as a mum of twins.

I sadly was also unable to find the right person to employee to work the business and therefore have no choice but to let you all know that I am saying goodbye.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have become more than just fur mums and dads, you have been an incredible support to my little biz over the years and I am going to miss each and everyone of you dearly.

If you would like help finding a new groomer please do not hesitate to reach out and I will help you find someone for your fur babes.

And if you see me out and about please say hi, you were all like family to me and again I thank you all

GlamourTails is looking for a Mobile Groomer on a full time basis with the opportunity to make a great income while doing something you love!

- No experience required as all training will be provided (some animal handling experience would be preferred)

- This position will be be preferably Monday - Friday (we can discuss start and finish times) Ability to work Saturday if you would like to earn a little more some weeks 🙂

To be suitable for this position:

✔️ You will NEED a car that can tow a trailer with a rating of 950kg
✔️ Drivers Licence
✔️ Be honest, reliable and willing to learn
✔️ Be a bright and bubbly people person
✔️ MUST come out for a days trial

You will be working in our fully enclosed air conditioned mobile salon, with all the necessary grooming tools and equipment (I will just ask that you purchase your own shears)

We have opened up some availability for last minute appts prior to Xmas!

Monday 4th - 11:30, 12:30 & 1:30
Tuesday 5th - 12:30, 1:30, 2:30
Wednesday 6th - 1:30
Friday 8th - 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30
Saturday 9th - 7:30 through till 2pm
Saturday 16th - 10:30 - 2pm

This is everything we have for the rest of the year so if you’ve left it last minute or would like your pets pampered before Xmas please send us a message to get them booked in asap 🥰

* Appts will vary depending on your location so may not be able to honour some times based on where you live as our run needs to be in order *

Just a little heads up for those who have appointments this week, I’ve had a rough run with my little girl in hospital over the weekend and at the moment things are a bit unsure as to whether she will need to go back. I am off today so I have contacted those who had appointments but I just wanted to put the FYI out so you are prepared that there may be some changes this week.

Will keep you in the loop either way as I know how things are going

Hi Glam Fam

Just a little post to subtly say the C word is 4 months away at the end of the week 😂

Yes I’m talking about Christmas 🎄

I thought I’d start dropping reminders to book in as I will be on leave from Friday 22nd Dec and back on either Wednesday 3rd Jan or Friday 5th Jan (I’m undecided at this point)

But as the warmer months roll in I’m going to start to book up, so wanting to offer the opportunity for you all to get your bookings in for the month of December so your pups are looking fab for the holidays💕

Pretty Gal MAPLE having a deshed this morning.

Have a short hair doggie, and still struggling with the constant shedding? A deshed is perfect to help maintain the amount of fur our pups lose, it will never stop it unfortunately but it will definitely prevent buying a Dyson yearly 😂

I got to meet this cute guy ARCHIE on Monday 🥰

Archie had a couple of knots to work through in his ears but he still looks super cute after his groom, his mum loved him so much and we had a chat about what brush is best to help with knots between grooms.

If you ever have any questions about the best brushes to use please don’t hesitate to ask, keeping our furbabies well brushed between grooms is the best way to make sure their coats stay free from matting 🤞as well as regular grooms of course 💕

Guys, I am very close to completely cancelling the ability to offer bank transfer as a means of payment.

I am continually chasing payments and it’s seriously not fair.

As well as running a business I have 11 month old twins.. time is not something I have a lot of and I just don’t see how I should have to continually remind and chase up clients to make payment.

Going forward if you are paying by bank transfer you must make payment at the time of your Appt reminder, if you haven’t made payment by the day of your appointment I’m going to be cancelling your appointment and filling your spot with someone who will actually pay for the service!

For those who always do the right thing, thank you I love you lots 💕

Happy Wednesday Glam Fam

A little announcement for those who don’t already know, my family and I have now relocated & I am now located in Griffin.

This sadly means I have had to say goodbye to a few of you who are now going to be a little bit too far to travel too 😢 a tough decision as you have all become like family to me

However, this is super exciting for the North Lakes clients I used to service and for anyone in the areas of Griffin, Murrumba Downs and North Lakes because I will now have availability to take on some new amazing clients 🥰

Oh LOLA 💕 definitely looks like a show girl now 😉😂

Just a little reminder as it’s getting a bit cooler now - if your worried about your furbaby getting a little cold don’t cut back on grooming, just let me give them a longer clip 🙌 not only will they look super cute and stylish. Keeping our furbabes groomed regularly throughout winter means you won’t have to see their coats matted and protects their skin from any nasties!

I mean would you avoid washing your hair because it’s cooler 🤔

Guess whose back ☺️

For those who don’t know I will be back on the road ‘officially’ from Monday.

I’d like to thank Talia for her help the last 11 months she has been a great value to my business 💕 I wish her the very best of luck on her new adventure.

I will be working Monday, Tuesday and Fridays between 9-3pm (some Wednesday afternoons just to fit in who I can from the backlog I have) this will mean I am going to VERY booked up in advance so just ensure you are giving me plenty of notice to rebook or reschedule, as there will be a fair wait at this point.

I would like to also remind everyone of the price increase from 1st April.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again, showing you pictures of the Twinnies and enjoying some time with your fur babes 😍😍

At this stage I will be returning at the end of March on a part time basis - I am yet to find a suitable groomer to take over when Talia moves on so you’ll be getting me back 💕

Hours will obviously be a little different but I’ll update you all once I have more information

PRICE ADJUSTMENT NOTICE

Dear GlamFam,

As much as I would like to maintain my rates for another year, I find that I must increase them to continue to provide the High Level of service that you are accustomed to.

GlamourTails prides itself on the highest quality pet care for our clients. While this is costly and takes time and effort, we never want to compromise on our standards.

Some Prices have remained unchanged since I started the business in 2019 and I’m unable to continue to absorb high rising costs over this time.

All services will increase $5 across the board. This does include ALL wash and grooming services.

This comes into effect for Appts from April 1st

If you have any additional questions or concerns about how this effects you, please contact me.
