I am super proud of my pony this weekend, 3 days of competition at the Wangaratta Dressage Festival, huge 3 days for the Wangaratta Adult Riding Club and Pony Club. Thanks to Jason, Lachy, Connor and Flick for all of your help 🥰.

Charlee and I competed in 6 tests over the 3 days, won ribbons in 5 of the 6 and finished as Open Grade 2 Champion on Sunday, what a thrill 🥰 it was also great to see Flick go up a level on her horse, and to see Dougie competing with his new person was an absolute joy 💕.

Thanks to WB Hunters for sponsorship of the event and Wangaratta Equine Emporium for sponsorship of the class.

7yo 13h unregistered welsh C mare. Chestnut with bling + +. Has been to pony club, competed in grade 5 State Championship Horse Trials 2022 and 2023, had 1 beautiful foal, easy breeder and great mum. Always in the placings at horse trials and Showjumping.

Luna is easy to have around, great to float, trail ride and brilliant to handle in every way. Perfect lead line for young child with ability to ride independently with time, would also suit a small adult wanting a fun competitive pony or reliable trail rider. Loves to jump and handles competitions like a pro. Luna is not a fan of dressage but “point and shoot” with jumping, safe cross country and can turn on a dime. Is forward moving but will also latch on to a person on the ground and follow them around for lessons or beginners.

While I’m doing some updates, we attended the Victorian Dressage Club and the Whittlesea Plenty Valley Dressage Club events at the National Equestrian Centre at Werribee on the weekend.

The Incredible Mr Fish, the big Hanoverian gelding with Felcity Murtagh on board is getting better every outing, the weather provided some challenges and poor Fishy was very scared of the tiny ponies in the warm up! But he managed to be less spooky and reactive in his tests with scores improving over the two days of competition 🥰 such a special quirky pony.

LP Douglas and LP Nugget have been out and about competing in some Horse Trials lately- you don't need to be jumping the highest grades to have fun with your pony! The geriatrics- Renee and Doug- have had a bit of fun in the 50 cm class while Flick and Nugget have been eating up the 80cm courses.

2 events to go in our zone and OTT Noddy will hopefully be out at the next event as well!

We have had a break from lessons due to flooding and competitions but with any luck, if the sun stays out, we are back!

We can usually accommodate private lessons at times to suit you via negotiation.

Saturday mornings is going to be all about groups, 9-12 focussing on flat work, mounted games, jumping, obstacles and fun! There will be 3 places available on our horses and riders are welcome to BYO horse or pony to join in the confidence building fun.

Please message me to book or for any more information. Our first Group Day will be 26th of November.

Have you wondered what we have been doing lately? Not much! The ongoing wet conditions has meant that no lessons are happening, competitions have been canceled and the horses are standing around in the wet.

On a positive note, the grass is growing, Luna’s overdue foal is growing and Doug is enjoying standing in his dry undercover yard 🥰

Our only OTT Surely Nobel, rehomed with us thanks to JW Equestrian services having his first start in horse trials at the Ride With Elegance Werribee Pony Club Event!

Noddy, as he is known at home, was amazing at this huge event! Watch his last few jumps cross country, bringing home a clear round with a few time penalties for being too slow!

my ride on Lilliput Park Douglas at Wangaratta Pony Club Dressage Jackpot. Great work Flick riding Dougie to win the Gr 2 Championship! He is just the bestest 🥕🥰
