Go Star ⭐️🦄
Lucy has not been handled, except the farrier, for the last year. Doesn’t matter because she has learned to float, tie up, be washed, rugged.. since the day she got weened. Now at 3,5 yo it’s her turn to be broken in. Yesterday with 30 cows and horse friends in a big field, today Quick wash, so we can start the ‘progress’ tomorrow

Seville PC Freshman’s I decided only to go the 90 as usually in PC the tracks are quite tied. Star just doing her thing. We have worked so much on getting her strides in the doubles bigger, now we are running out of room 🤷🏼♀️. How has this rocket not found a home yet?
Willow now 7 weeks under saddle 🦄

Some things humans can’t fix!! Indie is quite claustrophobic so it has always been a little struggle for her to come into the shelter (only 2 enclosed sides to make it easier for her) and eat her hay. Usually she never has a net around her round and every morning I would sprinkle a biscuit of Lucerne all over the hay to encourage her to eat! Well her little brother has arrived 2 days ago and I don’t think they have left the shelter since!!
It’s Willows turn 🦄

GlenOwen Equestrian you may have lost your pony to Andrew 😉
After loosing my beautiful Poops 1,5 years ago I got given the opportunity to keep Indie. To be honest she wasn’t my first choice! Don’t get me wrong she was always very pretty. She is hot, nervous and a pain in the arse at times. Well I have given her 1,5 years of work and rest and a big pot of faith! Now she has to be one of the most beautiful horses I have ever owned. She has grown and matured heaps and finally her big movements starting to fit into her body and she is calming down a little. What I actually wanted to say is give this baby’s time. Allow the ducklings to become swans! In this case unicorns. Indie is coming back into work after 4 months break and ‘only trail riding and playing around’ for 2 month. Picture March 2021 video from tonight.
What a difference in just 2 Weeks ! 🦄🌸

My favourite part of Breaking in horses has to be taking them out of the arena for the first time. Go Blossom, let’s explore the world and have some fun ❤️🦄 #breakinginhorses #babyhorse #goodgirl GlenOwen Equestrian
Most important thing with Babyhorses is reward and encourage them! Today my plan was to ride this sweet girl just continuing training. I got some balloons in the arena. She tried her heart out and was so brave she even touched them. All her energy and courage today got sucked up by the balloons. There was no way she had any mental energy left to get ridden! So we inspected the balloons and then she had a bath! Good girl blossom 🦄 it’s far more important to have a confident unicorn! We can ride tomorrow there is no rush!
