It’s been a busy winter here at AEVD, helped massively by the dry weather which has facilitated a lot of dental checks 🐴🦷🔍😀
Here’s just a snippet of some of the interesting cases I’ve seen and treated -
🦷 Advanced periodontal disease of 309/409 necessitating a bilateral extraction
🦷 EOTRH
🦷 Tongue laceration
🦷 Grass seed impaction of the sublingual salivary gland papilla
🦷 Incisor wear due to wind sucking/cribbing
🦷 Cushing’s (PPID) lower lip ulcers
🦷 Full set of upper incisor extractions due to malformation/oxalate ingestion (2 photos)
🦷 Lower wolf tooth
🦷 Peripheral cemental caries
Just a reminder that there are only a few spaces left between now and Xmas so get in touch ASAP if you need horses seen to in the next few months. January is already fully booked, but spaces available February 2025 onwards 🗓️👌😁
