Did you know that dog shows held around the country are free to attend to the general public? It’s a great place to start if you’re considering adding a furry family member to your home and perhaps you don’t know quite what breed would suit you best or you perhaps would like to meet a particular breeder you have spoken with about an upcoming litter. I’ll never forget how excited my family and I were when we attended a show to meet Oliver’s breeder for the first time, it was a great start to an amazing journey for us. Dog shows are held all over the country on most weekends so please consider attending and interacting with the exhibitors and their fabulous dogs before you decide on your breed and breeder.

This morning we attended the third show held by the North Of The Harbour Kennel Club with our 3 girls,
Ivy, Chilli and Dahlia.
Pleased to report our ✨Basito Chilli In Style✨ was awarded ✨Best Minor Puppy In Group ✨as well as ✨Runner Up Best Of Breed✨
We were lucky enough to have official photos taken with the judge, I can’t wait to share them with you all once they arrive

Today we attended the Royal NSW Canine Council Health & Welfare Charity Championship Show held at the Dogs NSW Showgrounds. We are delighted to share that our darling Basito Lady In Red Dahlia was awarded ✨Best Baby Puppy In Group ✨
So excited to see what the future holds for this beautiful girl.
Thrilled will all our results this weekend with our Basito Chilli In Style also walking away with a ✨Reserve Challenge ✨in today’s afternoon show.

Today we attended The Sutherland Shire Show held at Castle Hill Showgrounds, so pleased to report our Basito Chilli In Style was awarded CC Best Of Breed! Our Basito Drama Queen Ivy also attended and she was awarded R/U Best Of Breed. Wonderful results today for both my girls.

Who wants to go walkies? Please join us on Sunday 30th June at King George Park in Rozelle at 10 am.
The Dachshund Club Of NSW has taken an initiative to hold a monthly walk with our delightful breed to bring owners of dachshunds together for a social, fun walk and chat about our breed. The Dachshund Club Of NSW has some wonderful, knowledgeable members that are happy to share their experience and guidance about our breed. If you are considering a dachshund as a new addition to your family or if you need advice about anything dachshund, the Club is a great place to start.
I hope to see many beautiful dachshunds on our walk this weekend, if you can’t make it though, don’t worry, we run a monthly walk and all dachshunds welcome 🐾

Handsome Winston is a silver dapple boy from our Blossom and Rufus is a red long hair dachshund from our Poppy. These boys are fortunate enough to be living their best lives together with a beautiful family. I couldn’t be more proud of these breedings and forever grateful to their owners for giving them a loving home ❄️ 🐾

Baby Dahlia is such a fun loving little girl, her fearless spirit shines through with her puppy antics that can at times make the older dogs run for cover 🤣 starting to slowly learn her boundaries though which shows she’s not only sweet but also a smart little lady. Dahlia has settled in with our routine so well and is definitely a part of the pack now. Can’t wait for more fun, antics and cuddles with you Dahlia! So lucky to have you 💗
