Rottweilers.
These majestic beasts are some of the oldest livestock guardian dog breeds capable of herding cattle. Used by the roman empire as drovers. These days in between unstable, over-aggresive bloodlines can be found companions renowned for their loyalty and calm manner while harbouring natural protection traits.
This is big money Banks. 💰

These 3 POWERFUL doggos were recently featured on the news for an obscure story of a malicious dog attack through house boundaries.

Not many trainers would openly step into a job after hearing a story like that, I know a fair few who would straight up refuse or require backup because of fear.

I went in alone, without judgement and worked with these rambunctious and beautiful dogs along with their loving owner who did wonderfully to broaden their understanding of pack dynamics and individual traits.
There was clear evidence of an invasion into their boundaries but we won't discuss that.
Big respect to the owner for seeking help regardless of the circumstances.
They were painted as pure villains.
That was garbage.

Rocky is a powerful dog. Previously labelled as aggresive and reactive, he could not be handled outside without a muzzle. In one session we were able to change that.

Rosey the lovely labrador came through with issues regulating calm behaviour and dietary deficiencies causing her to try and eat everything including aluminium cans!!!
She left a happy chappy with no incidents during her whole stay.

Meet Oskar

This boy is so sad 💔 he was mauled by a 4 dogs and left for dead. We’ve nurtured him back to good health and now he’s looking for his forever home. Oskar would love a home where he could be a somewhat lap doggy and Netflix and chill with his family. Betsy has gone to her new home today. I think we found the perfect fit. ❤️

Good news. Betsy just got adopted by a lovely lady from Goulburn.

Betsy was surrendered to me a few weeks ago. She was one of the worst cases of neglect I have seen in a long time. She was not groomed in over a year. She was a continuous matted miserable mess. She had poo stuck on her bum. Hair grown up inside her virgina. It was horrid. She was also bitey, partly because she never had good experiences from people handling her.

With the help of my team and a local Bargo groomer, Danielle Borg, we helped her learn to love and trust again.

She now goes home to start a new life.

I still have scabs on my hand from hard bites a few days ago.
This is a different Betsy.
Through series of continuous wins ,confidence and happiness have shot straight up. The trauma is fading.
Betsy had never let anyone hold her back feet before this.
It might not look like much but we are aiming for groomer ready. Betsy is almost cleared for adoption.

I have spent alot of time with Betsy specifically desensitising her to touch.
She was one of the worst neglect cases I have seen in my time. Hair so dreaded she practically had a straight jacket for a coat. Genitalia sewn shut. Ears clogged.

The transformation has been real.

This lovely man spent a few months with us looking for a forever home. We found it.

At first glance a highly aggressive dog.
Underneath it all was sweeter than honey.
It took a week to work that out of him.
