While I have put my red shirt back on for 2025, I would like to reflect on 2024.
Only 5% of small business owners succeed in their first year. However, under "Jims," this increases to 88%, I am very humble to have achieved this.
The intention of my business was to have a purpose ( Ikigai ) , be present with my family, and heal from serving the NSW community as an operational police officer for 27 years.
Why choose Jims???
When undertaking business training at Jims HQ in Melbourne, I love the first 2 hours are spent with Jim himself, who makes himself accessible to all, along with giving everyone his mobile number. While I had extensive experience in many different areas, being able to run a successful business, I did not have. The processes supplied by Jims, if you follow these, with hard work and grit, you can make your business flourish.
I have always desired a balanced family and work livestyle.
Over the past year, I have been able to be present at both my son's events, which have included simply things like mother's day morning tea, supporting my eldest son achieve his black belt in Kung Fu and being a soccer mum with my youngest son.
I have been able to work seasonally, slow down in winter, and soar in spring. This has added so many health benefits.
I have continued my love of Tai Chi at Emerald Dragon, which not only provides a holistic mind, body, and spirit journey but energy grounding to work with all my doggies.
I would like to thank all my wonderful client's, and achieving a 205 five-star rating.

Closest to my heart, I was able to support my son's local Scout Group, Kings Langley 2. Through the profile of my business, I was able to support and drive fundraising for 5 scouts and a leader to attend the Australian Jamberee held in Maryborough. As a collective, washing dogs, raffles, car wash, sauage sizzle, and chocolate drive, we raised $6,500.
After officially retiring from the NSW Police Force, I appreciated an interview I did with Joel from Jims media group. This was a great medium to tell my story.
Using my profile, I was also provided an opportunity to be interviewed by Channel 7 to assist with NSW Police Force obtaining a significant pay rise.
I met my favourite TV stars at Bunnings, Bluey and Bingo.
My sister came onboard and is now running her own Jims Dog Wash Business. Through my experience, I was able to provide an extensive training program.
I was able to provide Jims Dog Wash continual improvement in processes and espically in work health safety.
The success I have been able to achieve is supporting people I care about. This has included
*Assisting my good friend, Lisa Eastwood, publish her first book.
* Creating a fundraising event to support Riley Greenland travel to China to represent not only Australia in the Shaolin Kungfu Games but to take the title of "World Champion."
*Assist Li Greenland in hosting a tradiontal Chinese Tea Cermony.
*MC the Dragon Games recently held at Emerald Dragron Martial Arts Centre.
*Drive the Shaolin Kung Fu monks in my now famous Kombi vintage bus.
I enjoyed the yearly Jims Dog Wash Conference on the Gold Coast, where I was able to gain further experience and met more great fellow groomers xx
2024, the Year of the Dragon was exceptional!!! My daily goal is to be 1% better than the day before.
2025 is the year of the snake. This is my Chinese animal. In March, I am part of the Shaolin 2025 team heading to China to follow the traditional path set before by each Shaolin monk.

AJ2025 - Maryborough QLD, here we come!!!
I would like to thank everyone who supported 2nd Kings Langely Scouts to achieve their dream.
From the start of the year, I was able to provide my support through Jims Dog Wash Blacktown to assist fundraising.
The fundraising included washing dogs, raffles, sauage sizzles, and a car wash.
Through this, this wonderful group of young scouts achieved their fundraising goal and are off for 10 days of jam-packed adventure!!
