Working on the documentary for the ponies... We now have 8 ponies, including Tulip - the little filly brumby we saved from the Burpengary kill pens, and 'Lucy Tippytoes' and ex racehorse that had a cut leg, and was definitely destined for the kill pens - they didn't even try to fix her leg.. I'll post specifically about her as well over the next few days as she is recovered and now joining the herd, and is the sweetest thoroughbred. They all deserve a lovely life, and I appreciate you helping me make that possible... and help ban the unnecessary killing of brumbies and horses, for pet meat! With covid, everything is changing and everyone down south is (understandably) moving up to Queensland across the borders..

I need to move my, now 8 rescues, and I'm looking for a farm to rent/rent to buy while I arrange financing, to move with them - but EVERY farm is being rented/bought by the Victorians and Sydneysiders.. In record time!

She’s such an adorable little brumby filly and I’m going to meet her this morning.. I actually just saved this beautiful little filly from the Doggers yards 2 days ago and need to move her ASAP (like yesterday).

I didn't realise she was actually at the Doggers yards until last night, so I'm upset that I don’t have a paddock for her right now, but so glad I saved her..

If you do know anyone/anywhere that can help, even for a few weeks while I find somewhere permanent that would be wonderful..

I'm ready to move all my ponies, ideally renting a paddock (I can put a Winnebago on it for the interim) - as I can't seem to find a farm/granny flat at the moment, but I'm looking to move down the Gold Coast ASAP as Meriton have also turned my apartment building into a government detention centre with security guards going up to the quarantine/supervised rooms/levels.. so need to move to a farm pronto.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HORSES..!!!

1st AUGUST IS THE PONIES BIRTHDAYS…

Happy Sunday! We are having a great day on the farm… There is now an electric fence around the dam, and the temperature at the farm is now ideal … it’s getting warmer as it’s coming into spring approaches … we are losing all of our furry winter coat and leaning down as it warms up..

Fame has a new rug to ensure her coat and condition is always getting better, and her spirits are great..

Qantas is as boisterous as ever - galloping up to me, as soon as he recognises me, and chasing Fame away from any food.. He then moves to each food pile that I happen to be near, preferring to be with me (sooo sweet).

The little brumbies, Match, Peaches and Stormy are all in good health. Whilst Match loved going into the dam (a total brumby treat), his coat is now clean of all the dam mud, and he’s looking great. Stormy is still a little quiet, but definitely friendly, and Peaches has turned extremely proactive for BioWare biscuits - and as always, sharing her food with Match.

Momma is still the boss and warning all the ponies away when it comes to food, and keeping them all in good order when it comes to behaviour..

Caviar is a darling.. she’s independent and second in command in herd hierarchy - ensuring she gets her food - and her coat is looking amazing.

All in all, the ponies had a great Sunday breakfast with a prime bale of hay, an entire bag of biomare (I swear I could see their bellies getting bigger as they ate), with olive oil and carrots…

All in all, a very happy, healthy herd of rescue ponies, both Brumbies and ex-racehorses..
