Happy Friday friends!!

I hope everyone is well and hopefully out of this heat, especially including my fury friends.

Heatstroke is no friend and it is very easy for a dog to suffer from it unfortunately.

Here are some tips to keep your fury friend cool during the hotter days:

1. Provide and make fresh drinking water accessible.
2. A nice amount Shade and/or a cool spot for them to chill out.
3. An ice pack, cooling Mat, or wet towel they are able to lay on.
4. Highly recommend avoiding midday heat for exercising.

These 4 tips can make your dog so much more comfortable and reduces the risk of heatstroke significantly.

Also, please never walk your dog in this heat. It is quite dangerous for their paws as well as the risk of overheating.

Welcome to Ali and Bear Dog Walking for your fury friends!

My name is Ali and I am 18 years old. I am a dog mum to a very beautiful German shepherd, Bear and I have been passionate about animals ever since I could talk. I love all breeds, sizes and personalities.

I have recently opened up my business, Ali and Bear dog walking for those dog parents that get caught up in their busy day to day lives etc that want their fury friend to get the exercise and mental stimulation in order for them to remain happy and healthy.

Being 18, I understand the question of experience. To answer that question is I believe I have quite the experience for an 18 year old. I have spent time working at a pet store where I learnt significant amounts of information about diet, behaviours and overall needs for a happy and healthy dog. As well as this, I am in the beginnings of getting my diploma of Veterinary Nursing and will be a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse at the end of 2024. I am also about to undergo a Certificate ||| in animal care science.

As well as the animals side of things, I have a certificate ||| in business that helps with the other side of things.

I’m saying this, I am extremely passionate and love anything to do with animals. I would love to meet your fury best friends and hopefully be able to assist in taking them on fun and enriching walks to help them remain their happiest and healthiest selves!
