🐾Our Top Tips to a beautiful nose🐾🐶
We know not all dogs will like having something on their nose, so here is a few of our tips to make application a breeze...
🐶We recommend, depending on how cracked & dry your dogs nose is, applying Ollie's Ointment at least 2 applications per day and at least one of those at night so the nose is moisturised throughout the night.
🐶Apply Ollie's Ointment before a meal, by the time your dog has finished eating they have generally forgotten about the nose.
🐶Apply Ollie's Ointment before a walk, this is a great distraction, those walk orientated dogs out there this is for you😉
🐶Apply Ollie's Ointment then immediately reward with a treat or a game.
🐶Apply Ollie's Ointment just before bed time, a sleepy dog like Ollie, doesn't have a care in the world.
Remember routine is key. Keep applying & you will see a difference in no time. We have had customers at their wits end after trying every product going, thinking nothing will help until they tried Ollie's Ointment 😉

Amazing news this morning!! 1300koalaz who were using my Ollie's Ointment have given me an update with the fire affected Koalas & our ointment. I'm very proud & over the moon our Ointment is helping those animals in need. Here are a few things they had to say:

🐨Hi Tia, 1300KOALAZ ave been on the fireground as SAVEM members. We are currently in Kangaroo Island where it is likely the most horrid scenes we have seen. There was a funny side to the story though. We have Army vets over from WA, one of them was also carrying Ollies Ointment with him.

🐨We are using Ollies on the burns victims so it was wonderful that we did get an extra amount before the fires started.

🐨Danny the Koala has only 2 spots left now, thanks to Ollies. We sadly have a team member with breast cancer. She has been using Ollies ointment on herself. So we will let you know the outcome. We have become addicted to it though.

🐨Victor our first fire burns koala was released after using Ollies. We have several koalas on Ollies at the moment. It is working a treat, and we will need to get some more off you because Ollies is so good. We even have people on KI (Kangaroo Island) using Ollies

Amazing 🐨❤️🐾

Welcome to our new 1300KOALAZ patron .

Brinkley said 'This is what really matters ❤️ Yesterday filled my heart up meeting the beautiful and dedicated team at , I am a patron here, and in training, after days of bad news it was beautiful to see who we have been able to help.
This shows the power of community, social media and human beings. 💙

In our fundraiser we launched 3 days ago, we have already raised a whopping $382,000. 😭

We are all speechless at your support and it shows how the world come together in crisis.

Being a part of the wildlife rescue network I have been able to speak to those who are where the fires are still burning and getting worse, the amount of animals that have perished is simply too hard to comprehend, with a scary weather forecast for the next two days we know this isn’t stopping anytime soon. Through the contacts I have both myself and through we identified before starting this big fundraiser, that many smaller organisations and carers groups have been missing out which are in desperate need, especially across SA and Victoria.

Our 6 charities we support are all fighting fires, providing humanitarian aid or wildlife aid and will make sure the donations get filtered down.

Both and are hubs for all the silent and smaller groups which don't have such big platforms or wildlife rescue centres, they support the carers who work from home, and maybe don't have social media, or websites. This is just as important, and we know this.

On behalf of our team at Balu Blue, we have been able to already support and , it is huge part of our mission as a charity to be able to be a voice and support for the wildlife care community, and we will continue to be. In the coming months times will be extra challenging and a lot of funding will be needed to keep up with the amount of animals, and the care they require.

Supporting 1300Koalaz

Yesterday Scrunch went home to and was very happy to be back.

Scrunch has spent two weeks in care after an altercation with a dog. She caught her carer and videographer on the hop when she dashed off to a nice tree. Then it was up, up and away for this cutie.

It didn't take long for the camera to catch up with her as she climbed ever higher.

Oil spill catches nosy koala in close shave
