Hi Furstended family! Welcome into the new year i hope you all had a great chrissy and everyone stayed healthy 🐾

Hi wonderfull furstended family! Due to a rescue business posting about my services regarding the microchipping scan/ownership finding of strays and the abuse i have recieved via messenger and phone i will be discontinuing this after hours service.

Please take all found animals to your nearest vet clinic for a scan, HOWEVER please be patient with staff as we as nurses are generally short staffed, looking after sick animals and cannot house stray animals due to clinic policies. This may mean the clinic turns you away without even scanning the animal, the pound is the legal and safe avenue for strays and is generally the first place someone looks when they have lost an animal.

If you choose to keep a stray until owners can be found, please quarantine them completely seperate to your animals, try to avoid material/carpets/wearing the same clothes near your pets and wash your hands. Stray animals may carry internal and external diseases/parasites that can spread to your animals and yourself, they may also not be very friendly to your pets. We dont want your good deed turning into a battle with your own babies at the vet or yourself at the DR.

Heading towards the silly season, i have had a cancellation and am now available between the 9/12 till the 22/12 for either visits or in house stays.

A side note, please ensure your babies have thier microchips up to date with current information and that they are scanning all together 🐾

These are why i run my service, and yes i do charge, i am not the $20 kid from up the road, i am an experienced Vet Nurse who does this on the side to help people feel confident and safe that they know thier beloved pet will actually be looked after with love, care and respect.
