For anyone who's following Soph's transformation, here she is celebrating her 7th birthday today. Her lovely mum Janet, a groomer made sure she was ready for her big day and still cannot believe her hair is filling in the patches, it's thickening up as well as being incredibly soft.

Meet Oakley: The Beloved Senior Maltese Mix 🐾

🌟A New Diet and Lifestyle for Creed

Armed with Creed’s test results, we made some important changes. We removed kibble from his diet and introduced proteins and vegetables he could tolerate. We avoided harsh flea and tick medications and stopped over-vaccinating. With these adjustments, Creed’s transformation has been incredible! “Stacey should be incredibly proud of herself for all the effort she’s put into improving Creed’s health and well-being.”

Today, Creed is a picture of health. His coat is full and shiny, his skin is clear and itch-free, and he’s a happy, energetic pup who loves nothing more than his trips to the beach.

🐾 Meet Creed: The Brave Bulldog Pup on a Journey to Health 🐾

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of meeting Creed, a gorgeous 5-month-old British Bulldog puppy. From the moment I saw him, it was clear that Creed was facing some tough challenges. He was covered in hives that had turned into sores, had bald patches, and his coat was in terrible condition. His skin was dry, flaky, and unbearably itchy. Creed's wonderful mum, Stacey, reached out and that’s when we began our journey together.

The Lesson Creed Taught Me - While waiting for Creed’s intolerance test results, I suggested Stacey rub coconut oil on his balding patches. Coconut oil is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which can soothe dry, itchy skin, and its fatty acids can promote a soft, healthy coat. However, Stacey noticed that Creed’s condition wasn’t improving—in fact, it seemed to be getting worse!

When Creed's test results came in, we discovered he was intolerant to coconut in all its forms. This was a huge lesson for me: even the most well-intentioned remedies can sometimes do more harm than good if they don't suit an individual dog's unique needs.

🌟 Leo’s Journey: Discovering the Triggers! 🌟

Welcome to Part 2 of Leo’s story! 🐾

Leo’s intolerance testing revealed a high intolerance to lamb and fish. We immediately removed the lamb mince and the lamb and fish kibble from his diet. Then, we carefully selected proteins and vegetables that would suit him and address his nutritional imbalances. 🥩🥦

We also discovered that Leo reacts to conifers (trees and shrubs), so we are aware of his environmental challenge. His bedding and winter coat were switched out, as he showed a dislike for cotton and wool.

Now, Leo is a very happy chappy, loving his BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) meals. His bowl is licked clean daily, and his family couldn’t be happier!🐶

Welcome to Part 2 of Sophie's story! 🐩✨

After running the intolerance test, we uncovered the culprits behind Sophie's dreaded itch, licking paws, ear inflammation, and overall discomfort. Sophie showed extremely high sensitivity to all seafood and wheat, as well as certain vegetables. These were immediately removed from her diet, and we saw an incredible transformation!

But it didn't stop there. The test also revealed reactions to cotton and wool, so her mum made adjustments to her environment. Additionally, we identified 6 nutritional deficiencies that needed addressing. 🎉 Intolerance Testing Success Story - Meet Sophie!

Sophie is a nearly 7-year-old Mini Poodle and a certified MindDog. I met Sophie and her wonderful mum four months ago when they were seeking alternatives to apoquel, which Sophie had been taking for her relentless itching, licking, and chewing. Concerned about the medication’s side effects, her mum decided to stop it cold turkey and needed a solid plan to manage Sophie’s symptoms.
