Meet Pat and Bob. Pat is the green collar darker boy that will be staying on to be trained by Brad while the lighter boy with the Blue collar will be Sandra’s pup.
We are over the moon with the potential that both these pups have a look forward to proving you many more updates.

And boy they are cute…..

What a great weekend meeting the new owners and families of our puppies. We are delighted with the homes that these puppies now have and begin their lives as retrievers, hunting companions, scent and agility pups and of course much loved family pets. We look forward to watching your new pups develop into well adjusted dogs and welcome to the Erringhi family.

6 weeks old today and the puppies got to celebrate with their first ride in the truck! They went to the vets where they all obtained a clear bill of health and were very well behaved while getting vaccinated and microchipped. This weekend they begin to meet the new owners. Some lucky people are in for some special pups!

A few photos from today playing in the sand. During the day they spent some time in the big crates getting used to different enclosures. All were super calm and had a great day.

4 weeks today! puppies are growing so fast and begun feeding on milk and powdered kibble. They are enjoying spending time in the new enclosure and getting into all sorts of mischief! Still a couple available so shoot me a message if you’d like further information.

Busy morning setting up the new puppy play pen. This old chook pen has been cleaned up and will make a great area for the pups to play during the day. We try and give them as much exposure to new textures and experiences to help their early development over the next 4 weeks. A few more things to add to finish off then we can release them into the space.

Three weeks old tomorrow and turning into big puppies! Eyes are open and they are on the move. Great shot this morning of them lapping milk for breakfast. Loving the different shades of yellow amongst the pups.

When you’ve been away working all week and you come home to visit your puppies and your very best girl misses you.
Pups now have eyes open and beginning to walk. Get ready for chaos over next few weeks!

One week old and getting so big! With a Retrieving trial this weekend I’ve headed off to the blue mountains.

We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of our highly anticipated litter!

Father Gus, GR NTL RTCH Nativerun Angus, needs no introduction as the current National Champion with a significant lead on the dog of the year leaderboard and one of the most admired dogs in Australia for his marking ability and temperament.

Lola is the 2022 Working Gundog Club Restricted
dog of the year and a consistent All Age performer.

These pups will have the qualities of UK working retrievers and suit a range of working homes.

Meanwhile Gus the father of this litter continued his excellent run by winning the Victorian state Retrieving trial championship on the weekend.

Congratulations to Ray and Gus for winning the 2023 National retrieving trial championship held this weekend in WA. Gus is a remarkable dog having also won the NSW state championship this year and has a commanding lead on the dog of the year leaderboard.
Gus has been mated to Lola and we are looking forward to puppies mid October.

The Erringhi Gundog crew are loving the new wheels! Unfortunately we are not attending this year National Retrieving Trial championship in WA but will be flying in as spectators. Good luck to all the competitors. We will be there next year!

Congratulations to Ray and Gus for winning the NSW state retrieving trial championship. This is one of the most outstanding dogs that I have seen and is consistently in the places. He has also recorded a second place the previous week in the Queensland championship and won over 10 all age trials in 2023.

Last night together for the terrible two. What a delight it’s been to have these 2 pups from our incredible litter for these past weeks. Tomorrow one leaves for her new home with an experienced handler and all age winner. The other stays with us.
These two will no doubt battle it out in the field over the next few years.
Good luck Erringhi Valley Girl. I hope you have every success and have a lot of 2nd places to you sister!

Almost time to say goodbye! It’s been a blast looking after these guys but time to spread their wings! Next stop Sydney airport. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next for this group of puppies. Go get ‘em…..

Today our foundation bitch Huntogun Erringhi, Lola, received her updated pedigree and certificate for her Restricted tittle achieved last year on her way to becoming NSW Restricted dog of the year. Lola is now competing in All Age and has achieved several minor places this year.
Today more importantly she is teaching her grandsons and daughters how to swim!
Lola’s pedigree is full of some spectacular UK dogs known for their game finding ability.

Using the lunchtime feed to begin with the whistle recall

Just when you thought you had enough dog stuff you purchase a tunnel to teach your 4 week old pups agility! The puppy training gets into full swing this week with crate and whistle training started

Pupdate. 2 weeks old eyes are open and all are walking. Cute factor 29 out of 10

And we are off. Busy few hours ahead. Bella is a wonderful mum and both pups are doing great.
