Good way to distract anxious pups is by enrochmimt toys, lick mats ect.
Normally we get a cold front with strong to damaging winds and it tails out after a few hours but this next series of weather is going to be more sustained and prolonged then what we are used to dealing with even greater then what we saw earlier in the week.
People shouldn't be panicked but be prepared and most importantly be prepared to be without power for days.
At minimum statewide people should expect Strong to damaging winds up to 110km/h from tonight easing Tuesday morning.
Locally Destructive winds 125 - 150km/h are possible early Saturday morning about the West Coast, Central Plateau/ Highlands and Northeast redeveloping again Saturday into Sunday morning as another cold front crosses the state with a deep low passing to South of Tasmania.
Worth mentioning Destructive winds could also occur within thunderstorm Squalls.
Another trough and cold front crosses the state Monday bringing the further risk of damaging winds finally easing Tuesday.
Then we have the Flood risk!
8 Catchments are currently under a minor Flood Warning with isolated moderate flooding possible.
Risk of flash flooding is also a risk within Thunderstorms.
Then the risk of Heavy Snow and blizzards about the higher peaks including the Central Plateau.
Between Friday and Tuesday morning some areas could see up to 50cm of snowfall with isolated Higher totals to 1m particularly about the West and Central Plateau/ Highlands.
So many risks at play and a very busy next few days!
