I just donated $5.. its a small amount but every bit helps.. if u have the spare cost of a coffee think anout helping hounds in homes. I have fostered for them in the past.

A huge thank you to all who have donated, it’s so wonderful to see only 2 red lines in our funds tracker. This means we are able to pay our vets for the work being done on our beautiful hounds.

Your are all amazing! Just a little further to go and we can start to get appointments booked in and start to discuss new dogs coming in to care.

Not all trainers contribute to their hounds coming in to care. Some do and we know who they are.

More big brands are saying no to the “unreality” TV greyhound racing program Thrill of the Chase. They are often not aware that their ads are appearing and are very quick to distance themselves from the show and from greyhound racing in general.

Interestingly, while ads are still appearing in the broadcast and live stream of the show, all ads have disappeared from the on-demand website. We’re claiming that as a win for the greyhounds.

The next Thrill of the Chase is to be broadcast at 10am on 7two and 7plus on 4, 11, and 18 Dec. It will also be available on-demand.

If you are able to capture the name of advertisers, please email them to [email protected]. Please include the date and whether it was free to air, live streaming or on-demand. The ads do vary state to state. The least offensive way if you're watching a broadcast is to record the program and fast forward through it to the ads.

Thanks to everyone who has watched the program either free to air or online and sent through the names of the advertisers. We’re emailing and messaging the companies and already have a good response.

Panini is Greyhound Rescue’s Pet of the Week and our supermodel. She is quite the tastiest snack around Greysland with her expressive velvety ears and super soft snoot.

Panini tells us she is in “search of a human to be FWSB (Friends With Scritch Benefits). I’m a bit not sure about other dogs just yet, so maybe if it’s just you and me for now?”

Our beautiful Rosie continues to fight, and she still needs our help. Happily as we write this, she's getting to spend some time at home with her dedicated foster carer, but she's still in and out of hospital, and medical bills continue to climb.
