Congratulations to Graeme and Breeze (Ntl. F.T.CH.FW. Nativerun Breeze,) who is Blue's sister, in New Zealand, for placing 1st in the Waimate Gundog Club Retriever Championship. 👏

💥 So, so proud of Paul and Blue ❤️ (R.T.CH. Nativerun Bracken (AI)) today, taking out a well earned 1st Place in the All Age stake. Run by The Labrador Retriever Club Of Victoria, in Yea.
Judge, Mrs Kate Eltringham awarded him a CM for being the only dog she has ever seen to meet all her criteria for awarding a CM to. 💥
Well done and congratulations to Paul and Blue!! 👏 👏

💥💥 Awesome achievement by 4 handlers and their dogs at the '54th National Retrieving Trial Championship' held at Hartley, NSW. 12th - 14th of September 2025. 💥💥
This event is held once a year and is over a gruelling 3 days with 8 runs to complete.
4 'Nativerun' dogs remained in competition, all going into the last day and run 8. (Which is a wonderful accomplishment for handlers and dogs)
To top it off 2 dogs placed in the top 5.

4th place - Glenn Hartney with Tess. ❤️

5th place - Ray Ashenden with Guss. ❤️
(GR.R.T.CH.NTL.R.T.CH.Nativerun Angus CM.DM.)

Other finisher of the 'National' was -

Hot on their heels was -
Ronnie Cooper with Chase ❤️ -

who unfortunately didn't complete run 8, but was certainly a crowd favourite with many people cheering and urging him on.

💥 Fabulous achievement for 2 handlers with their dogs. 💥

Ray and Guss win the NSW Retrieving Trial Championship held in the picturesque town of Hartley, with Glen and Tess placing 4th.

Since achieving his Rally Excellent title in late May Mac and I have been working towards his RAE.
Having missed some opportunities to compete due to my judging of other sports I entered the Triple Rally Trial at Geelong yesterday, hoping we could achieve the 2 pairs of passes for Mac's title.
Despite a nervous start by both of us in the 1st up Excellent run with a couple of retries we still passed with 90 and followed up with 100 in Advanced.
The 2nd trial resulted in Excellent 95 and Advanced 99. These passes earnt Mac his RAE title!!
Thanks to the guidance and teaching of Belinda Osler and training support from Robyn Davis, the whole day was such a contrast to 12 months ago.
As Mac was working well I decided we would still compete in the 3rd trial.
A pair of 96 point passes and 1st place in Advanced finished the day off beautifully.
I was very appreciative of Lindy Gumpold's support throughout the six runs.
It was an awesome way to spend my birthday.

💥 Wendy and Nativerun Braveheart (Mac) ❤️ are a fabulous team when it comes to Agility.

The following is written by a very proud Wendy, with some lovely photos of Mac on his agility course.

"On a very hot mid-March day Nativerun Braveheart (Mac) and I went to the Dogs Victoria Centre at Skye to compete in our 1st ANKC Agility Trial. In his 2nd Agility run Mac ran the course cleanly and well under time to earn first place in the 600mm section. I am so very proud of his Agility skills. Demonstrating his versatility, Mac and I continue to compete in Scent Work at the Excellent and Masters levels. We are also resuming in Rally Excellent next month."
