Dottie and Destiny competed in their first official Sprint Dog Trial on Saturday 1st February. Dottie is a seasoned Lure Courser so we knew that she would nail the runs with no issues. This was Destiny's first go at chasing the lure, with very minimal training at home. She showed some really keen interest but we weren't 100% sure if the line on the ground would freak her out.....NOPE!! She blasted down that chute like she had done it a thousand times before. She was focused on the lure the whole way which is exactly what we want to see, and afterwards she wanted to do it all again, lol, which she did.

Both Dottie and Destiny achieved their first quallies and points towards their Novice title:

Happy New Year!!

The Wonelook Team didn't trial much in 2024 due to personal reasons, but overall the team still did well considering the small amount of trials that we did attend.

The team did us proud as always earning 3 Championships, 18 Titles and 158 Quallies (including Cherry our Greyhound who thinks she's a Border Collie, lol).

Brisk – 8 Quallies (we lost her in May)
Lyric – SWN, 16 Quallies
Dottie – Neut Championship, SDM2, JDO7, JDM5, JDM6, 37 Quallies
Cherry – Neut Championship, RAE, 8 Quallies
Snowy – SDM, ADM, CD, SWN, JDM2, JDO4, 45 Quallies
Scout – Show Championship, RAE, SD, SWN, SPD, GD, 24 Quallies
Destiny – RA, SWN, 20 Quallies

Our focus last year was showing more than anything, but again we only managed to attend 38 shows throughout the year due to personal reasons. However, we attained Scouts Champ Title and both Dot and Cherry attained their Neuter Champ Titles and Destiny is only a fraction away from hers as well, so we are pretty happy with that.

Wishy will commence her sporting career at the end of January kicking off in some Rally and Scent Work, as well as continuing in her showing where we hope to achieve her title this year as well. She won’t be competing in the more demanding sports until 2026.
