Hey guys, been a few months. I have moved to northern suburbs of Adelaide and I'm ready to jump in to some dog walking/pet care gigs if anyone is interested.

Prices are tailored to each client and may vary between clients.

Check ins and visits can include:
Feeding
Watering
Litter scooping/changing
P**p scooping
Basic grooming (brushing, nail clipping)

Walks can include:
Sniff-aris
Structured walks
Basic training (sit, heel, slack lead walking, basic recall)

My services are suited to everyone and all types of animals. I have lots of experience with cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, pocket pets.

I don't offer overnight stays at my house or yours, but twice daily visits can be arranged to ensure your pet is safe and sound.

Hey guys,

As we are coming into warmer weather, any scheduled dog walks will be rescheduled if the weather exceeds 30ºC. Even in high 20's the ground can burn their paw pads so it will be decided the day before or the day of whether or not I will proceed with the walk, keeping your pet's best interest in mind. If you would still like your dogs walked, we can organise an early morning walk or an evening walk to avoid the hottest parts of the day but this will need to be discussed the day before to ensure we are all on the same page. Keeping your dogs safe and away from unnecessary discomfort is at the forefront of the services I provide so walking on hot days is not negotiable. Not only does it put your pooch at risk of heatstroke or burnt paws, but it also puts me at risk as well.

On top of this, there is also a big Parvovirus outbreak in our area, all dogs that I walk, care for, or otherwise meet in terms of my business need to be vaccinated. This is a non-negotiable. I have my own dogs and other people's dogs to keep in mind and keep safe.

About a week ago, I had the pleasure of spending 4 hours dog-sitting this beautiful 18-month-old St Bernard, Arthur. It's not every day that I get to experience the big slobbery kisses of such a giant breed, but boy was it so fun. We went on a walk, rested under the shady area at a park, Arthur had some treats and a chicken frame his mum had prepared for him and we had a very exciting but also calm day while Arthur waited for his mum to finish work.

Giant breeds are some of my favourite types of dogs and having the privilege to spend 4 hours with this guy was such an honour.

Do you, or someone you know, struggle with the day to day upkeep of your pets? Keeping up with litter scooping and litter changes, scooping the p**p in the backyard, cleaning up their general mess or even just feeding them can be quite the task for some people.

My services also include helping to accomplish those tasks. I can scoop, tidy and disinfect those areas that you struggle with. Your backyard can be p**p free, your house can smell a little less like cat wee and you can rest knowing your back doesn’t ache and you can go back to doing the things you’d rather be doing.

My first doggy client, Daniel. Daniel's care is very simple and is just about spending time with him while he is still growing. I play with him, enrich him with puzzles, he takes a big nap and then wakes up just in time for lunch. I offer similar services for all types of animals who might require a bit of extra attention during the day to keep them company or keep them out of mischief while their owner is away or at work. Fella is my 5-year-old Kelpie who has been an exciting addition to my life for the last 3 years. Before he was mine, he was my dad’s dog. Dad adopted him at a time in his life where maybe getting a working dog was not the best idea and didn’t have the time or energy to keep up with such a boisterous pup. Unfortunately, 2 years into owning Fella, my dad got sick and passed away and Fella was left in the care of a neighbour until my family could find a home for him. Eventually, it was decided that I would be the one to take Fella into my care. Fella was not in good condition due to the rough start to life, he was skinny, his fur was dull and patchy and he was erratic and untrained. He also had a severe case of worms and fleas which caused him to have some unsavoury stomach problems. I spent a lot of time and money researching and implementing a better, healthier lifestyle for this boy and soon he began to thrive despite all odds against him. He has become the light of my life and his health issues have almost entirely dissolved. His fur is shiny and he has enough energy to power a large household. I take pride in the work and effort that we as a team have put into bettering his life. He is the reason I have chosen to start this small business, hence why he and two of my cats are the face of it.

This is just a small example of the level of care I provide and I will provide the same to your animals.

Ollie's Companion Care is designed to assist people with the care of their pets and is based on the copper coast. It is aimed at those who are going away, work a lot or are unable to meet their pets needs due to any number of reasons. My services are available for all animal types. Dogs, cats, horses, chickens, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, etc.

My services include but are not limited to:
- Dog walking ~ maximum of 2 dogs at a time, up to an hour.
- Feeding and watering your pets.
- Cleaning litter trays, cages, scooping up mess from your backyard.
- Day visits ~ maximum 3 hours with your pets while you're at work or busy to keep your pets company and out of mischief. This does not include walking. Walking will be additional.
- Daily check-ins while you're away, twice daily if required. Includes feeding, watering and cleaning the pet mess.

I am very passionate about the care of animals and will endeavour to provide the best care for your best friends. I can travel to Kadina, Wallaroo, Moonta, Bute, Port Broughton, Port Wakefield, Snowtown and other surrounding areas.
