Your pet's hair is at its weakest when wet, making it prone to breakage. Brushing while wet can cause damage to your dog's coat. It can also be quite painful for them as the brush cannot glide through the coat.
When is the best time to use your Refuresh deshedding brush during bath time?
Definitely save the deshedding for when your pooch is dry.
A quick brush before the bath and then after when they are completely dry and the fur/undercoat is loose from the bathing process. This is when you will get the best result with the Refuresh deshedding brush 😊

The Siberian Husky…outgoing, alert, affectionate 🧡
Husky’s are no doubt one of the most striking breeds with their stunning, thick coats and famous almond shaped blue or brown eyes. They are built for speed and endurance and do best in active homes. They adore people. As with all dogs, especially larger, more powerful breeds, they require training and socialisation to become a balanced and stable companion.
Husky’s are a double coated breed, therefore grooming requirements are fairly high. They require regular deshedding year round and will also drop their undercoat twice a year as the seasons change. The shedding of the winter coat is nothing short of spectacular 🤯 A deshedding brush is a crucial part of any Husky owners grooming kit.

Let’s talk hairballs for just a minute…🤢
The natural grooming behaviours of your cat can lead to hairballs.
◾Cat tongues have small hook-like growths that remove loose hair
◾Most of the time, hair passes through the digestive system
◾Occasionally hair becomes stuck in the stomach and can result in a hairball 🙀
The good news is that it’s really easy to prevent this!
Use a deshedding brush regularly on your cat to remove the bulk of shedding hair from their coat. This will also prevent fur from matting 🐈
The Refuresh deshedding brush we recommend for your cat will depend on their breed but in general, your short hair varieties will require the short-medium brush and the longer hair varieties such as Persian and Ragdoll will require the long hair brush.
