We are devastated to report the death of Hello Sweetheart, the Queen of our stable, yesterday from anaphylactic shock.
Sweetie was the first horse I ever bought and has been a part of my/our lives for six years.
Tough, honest, strong, fearless and clever. She only won once, but finished in the first 5 in 70% of her races.
My condolences to her breeders, the Doherty's, who have followed her career closely.
Myself, my staff, her owners and all friends of the stable are truly shattered and want to thank everyone who helped with this wonderful, gentle mare and whom she touched with her galant nature.

It’ll be thirsty work for Piscean today at Mornington as he attempts to go back to back in the 1500m race 3 with Michael Walker aboard.

The long road back to the winners stall was tough, but so is our attractive Starspangledbanner gelding. I really hope he continues to reward his loyal owners today.

A stranger emailed me after Anikery’s win on Wednesday to say that he had taken some photographs as a hobby, schoolteacher being his profession.

I was sent the photos attached and I’m delighted with the results. Fotios clearly has talent. Keep up the great work! Thank you, kind fellow.

I love the Cheshire Cat smile from Emily that was visible from at least the 90m mark. 😁

🔥The on-fire females at DWT know no limits; Anikery scores aided by the magic hands of Emily Brown to make it 3 wins in a row.

Another step up in trip to 2600m has seen her rise to the challenge of BM64 grade and secure a whopping $33k in prize money and Vobis Gold bonuses for her fabulous owners.

It’s so good to have a mare like this in such good form at this time of year, hopefully more to come...

Our little champ keeps turning up in great order and is racing in such dominant fashion.

Emily Brown took her to the lead and you didn’t want to be on anyone else throughout as she dashed away to score her second win in as many starts.

A perfectly executed ride by Emily Brown has secured the 2nd win for this quirky mare. She relished the 2000m and a nice draw to win with a leg in the air.

Half of my small team will line up tomorrow, including these two characters, in what will be a huge day for our stable.

On the left, Piscean, will join Anikery and Hello Sweetheart at Yarra Valley to contest races over 1200m, 1600m & 1000m respectively, whilst Wolf Prince, on the right, will have his first race start in the Inglis Banner in a half-million dollar race at Moonee Valley early on Cox Plate Day.

Excited doesn’t cover it! Watch for the Maroon and Gold Hoops.

Thanks to Stacey, Corey, Phoebe, Cotts and Bourkey for all of their support over the last few months to get us to such an important day.

Another terrific milestone was passed yesterday as DWT secured our 10th winner from our 101st runner!

A really pleasing result with this c**t breaking his maiden with a fair bit of improvement to come. The stylish grey was tough to the line as he fought off all challengers to win by a short margin.

Special thanks to Jason Benbow for a beautiful ride, Chelsea Hall for her selfless assistance to my team and I, Stacey Badcock, Fulmen Park Moorooduc and Macca, the stable magpie, who has brought us very good luck since he moved in.

Today this lovely mare races at Warracknabeal in what will be my 100th runner.
I have so many people to thank for helping me reach this milestone in my career and I couldn’t possibly do them justice by trying here. From the riders and foremen at Gai’s back in 2003, to the farriers, vets and my wonderful staff this year; Thank you so much.
It’s been a very windy, at times rocky, but rewarding road and my horses have meant everything to me. Especially this one.
Hello Sweetheart is everything you ask for in a racehorse; sound, kind and gives you 100% every single time she puts her head through a bridle.
Best of luck to her magnificent owners, who include family and friends.
