We have had a massive year in Showing in 2023 with Zuko and Zandar getting their Australian Championship titles.

Our beautiful girl Cora in South Africa also getting her Championship title
Thanks to her breeder Magdel for working in partnership with me in showing Cora while waiting to come home.

We attended our first Australian Dachshund National here in QLD in May.
Then I went to New Zealand’s first Dachshund Nationals with supporting and handling some gorgeous dogs in the ring.

Our little Aurora joined our family and joined our little Show team and strutting her stuff 🐾🥰

We finished off competing the last 3 days at Dogs QLD Festive Fiesta with great results.

Thursday Night
In a strong lineup Zandar was awarded Best of Breed
Thanks to Judge Ms Jodi Fraser ( TAS ) bringing home 13 points

Saturday Night

This month in the Dogs Queensland 2023 Calendar we get to see our beautiful boy Aus Ch. Anarchy’s Zuko Prince if Fire (Imp ) - Zuko
What a beautiful journey we have been on in the past 2 years
He has achieved his Australian Championship titled .
Been is the Australian Dachshund Nationals , competes in junior handlers with beautiful Audrey and the list goes on….
We are very blessed to Kendra from the USA for breeding such a beautiful soul .
He has changed so much since this photo now as a 4 year old adult dog but even more gorgeous to me .

We received the best Christmas presents news yesterday!

Ch. SA Karonika Sweet Caroline
Known as Cora is finally coming to Australia! 🙏🎉🐾🐾

It’s been confirmed and quarantine booked Cora will land in Australia on the 24th January 2024.

Thank you to her breeder Magdel who has been showing her throughout nearly 2 years for me in South Africa.
Cora has been showing also in FCI shows as well .
Cora has shown under many Internationals judges including Australian judges .
We are so excited to be finally bring Cora home into our family. Great times ahead for our little Show team ❤️🐾

A festive Christmas lunch was held in the function room at Dogs Queensland to celebrate the year that was and enjoy some time together as a club.

Show training is on tonight at 7pm at Dogs Qld sports grounds Durack.

It’s the penultimate training session of the year with the last one being held next week.

It’s our club Christmas lunch this Sunday 10 December and Santa will be visiting! We hope he chooses a better means of transport 🤣🤣

All club members are warmly invited to join us in the Function room at Durack at 12pm Sunday for a yummy Christmas lunch catered by Wagz Cafe.

Santa will be handing out his Secret Santa gifts. Tickets are just $35 per person, please bring your friends and family members (but unfortunately not your dachshunds). This is a people only event.

Book via Show Manager or email our secretary Julie at [email protected] if you need help with bookings.

Drinks will be on sale. The championship medals for 2023 will be awarded during lunch for those dogs that attained champion status during the year, whether for conformation or for sports titles.

Bookings close at midnight on Wednesday 6th December so be quick!

Thanks to our Thursday night families who come along to train.
Everyone is welcome at our Thursday night training and I’ll be there to answer any of your questions 😃

Well today you CAN bring your dachshund, in fact PLEASE bring your dachshunds to our Festive Fun Day this afternoon from 2.30pm to 6.30pm for lots of fun and games and races and demonstrations and generally just having a good time.

Market stalls, a group walk, an off leash play area, fancy dress - it’s all happening at the Dogs Qld Sports Grounds, 247 King Ave, Durack.

Funds raised go to D2DR to assist with rehoming and rescuing dachshunds in need.

Every Thursday evening we hold show training and puppy socialization classes at Dogs Qld sports grounds, 247 King Ave, Durack. At just $5 per handler, it’s the best priced training around!

Come on down tonight at 6.45pm for a 7pm start. Book via show manager or bring $5 cash.

Our wonderful training coordinator Leisa Lockett and our fabulous trainers will be there with lots of advice and tips.
