It's been a long time since our last post. So many things have happened, Mandy working away 6 months of the year, and various other bits and pieces popping up along the way. Even longer since we’ve bred a litter of pups, time sure does fly.

But guess what?

A litter of 6 pups hit the ground last Thursday 17/8/23, 3 x male & 3 female. A selection of both will be available after 8 weeks of age.

We have high hopes for this litter. It combines a direct AI daughter (Duddy's Jill) to the world-renowned UK sire Floyd Farthings Jack and sired by a highly accomplished NSW Open trial dog (Andersons Wish), who is a direct son to the very popular Australian sire Woodford Jack.

On Andersons Wish side, his mother is our old matriarch Shady Acres Tara who needs no introduction to anyone that knows us. Tara was originally our daughters trial dog; the duo went on to win NSW Maiden/Novice Dog of the Year 2015-2016.

For several years now Tara is Mandy’s ever faithful companion and go to dog. Tara has had several litters to different sires and never let us down once.

Cash, the only dog in Australia by Floyd Farthing Jack (we’ve been lead to believe). Crawfords Sophia's, her work and pedigree speaks for itself!

Cash has proven his worth many times over both in the paddock and trial arena, winning this years 2021-2022 Maiden / Novice Dog of the Year and Dog of the year for NSWWSDA. Massive achievement for his first year trialling.

Cash has an outstanding drive to work which is showing though in his progeny. He has strength, style and an extremely powerful direct walk in and will bite both front and back when needed.

We’ve joined Cash twice and have retained all his progeny, and are more than happy with their progression.

Unfortunately the old saying goes……. Can’t keep all of them. Our loss is someone’s gain!!!

Due to all the wet weather haven't had much opportunity to start these youngsters, only this pups second look at stock, seems very calm and natural and looks as though he is going to have a bit of bite in him.
