They join c**ts ex Group 1 winner GUST OF WIND & MISS GLENN who is a half-sister to top class RED RESISTANCE (He is back in training with an axe to grind). These are the best foals we have bred on a stallion we own and we are delighted with what we are producing.

LADY OF CAMELOT unleashed – another crown jewel for Sir Owen?

Following in the footsteps of her half-sister PLATINUM JUBILEE – our homebred LADY OF CAMELOT lived up to her family expectation and looked every bit the talented filly we thought she might be when posting an impressive win on Monday in the first 2yo trial for fillies of the year – posting a sizzling time.

Racing away from the rail and in the centre of the track proved no obstacle for our daughter of WRITTEN TYCOON who extended away strongly for the most impressive of trial debuts. Having pulled up in good order – LADY OF CAMELOT looks to emulate her sister for her own crowing moment in the Gimcrack Plate next week. What a result that might be for Sir Owen’s blue-hen MISS DEBUTANTE whose first two foals (and runners) are Group winning 2yos.

Special thanks go to elite 2yo trainers and to who educated this filly to never miss a beat and to the team who raised her to be the precocious racehorse she is. We cannot wait to see what her future holds. What an exciting season of 2yo racing ahead.

Group winning stallion RISE OF THE MASSES back on track.

Sir Owen and the team take great satisfaction in seeing our homebred Group winning horse RISE OF THE MASSES back in the winners circle on his 4yo seasonal debut. Showing all the guts and heart that we became familiar with during a 2yo season that took in a Pago Pago Stakes win and Slipper run – RISE OF THE MASSES was back at it on Wednesday to fend off all challengers and get his head back in front for an impressive return win after an injury enforced layoff.

Special thanks go to who have trained RISE back to form and to for a perfectly executed ride. Also a special word of thanks to for his equitation work early in RISE’s training. RISE will now gradually step up in grade and we look forward to getting our Go Bloodstock homebred back competing amongst the best like he did as a 2yo.

Win #6 for CRITERION’s best son BLAZE A TRAIL who is on fire in the silks.

Our homebred 5yo gelding BLAZE A TRAIL has been in good form this preparation in Queensland for and notched a deserved win on Saturday at Doomben over 1350m in the hands of who rode a double on the day.

This was BLAZE’s 6th career win and he is doing his infertile dad CRITERION proud as his highest earner and most successful produce. BLAZE has now won Saturday races in Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne with career earnings of $454k over 4 seasons. A Sextet for the Slipper

Sir Owen and the team are proud to have ownership in 6 runners contesting the Golden Slipper Stakes this Saturday. 3 of these runners are Group winning graduates of our Go Bloodstock Breeding program while 3 are products of our investment in the successful c**t partnership.

STEEL CITY - Another Stakes winning 2yo & Golden Slipper chance bred by

2yo filly STEEL CITY had a wrong to right on Saturday after a luckless Blue Diamond run and boy did she deliver in impressive style – dominating the Group 3 Magic Night Stakes from the front. Showing a liking for the addition of blinkers – STEEL CITY was not for catching running a slick time and delivering on the potential we always knew she had. With form around race favourites RED RESISTANCE & LEARNING TO FLY – STEEL CITY is right in the Golden Slipper picture is she can replicate this performance next Saturday. Congratulations to and our partners who took the punt on this filly and what a journey we are having.

STEEL CITY breathes life into MERCHANT NAVY with this victory and becomes the second Group winner for her mum PITTSBURGH FLYER - from only 3 runners (Group 1 winner SEPTEMBER RUN the other). With a precocious EXCEED AND EXCEL c**t retained by Sir Owen and a mating to I AM INVINCIBLE – the future is bright for PITTSBURGH FLYER.

With this win STEEL CITY becomes the 3rd Go Bloodstock bred 2yo qualified for the Golden Slipper alongside Group winners RED RESISTANCE and PLATINUM JUBILEE. With partnership c**ts KING’S GAMBIT, DON CORLEONE and EMPIRE OF JAPAN also in the field – Sir Owen heads into Saturday with a strong hand and hopefully the winner is among the sextet.

12/12 - Perfect Breeding Record Complete for Blue-hen MICA’S PRIDE

Homebred 3yo filly MISS FABERGE got a deserved and important win on her resume yesterday over 1000m at Goulburn with good friend training and Irishman riding. MISS FABERGE left it late over a 1000m short of her best but was strong late to exert her authority for an exciting win.

This is an important win for MISS FABERGE and also a special win for our foundation mare - MICA’S PRIDE. Her breeding record now stands at a perfect 12 winners from 12 runners including 4 stakes winners headlined by Group 1 winners CRITERION and COMIN’ THROUGH. She really is a great mare who we are very proud of and she means a lot to Sir Owen (See attached recent photo of Sir Owen and MICA’S PRIDE who is happily enjoying her retirement Her legacy will live on through her daughters – MISS FABERGE and MY DELIGHT who is expecting her first foal for us - due to RUSSIAN REVOLUTION later this year

Midweek Double for – SOLDIER OF ROME a Warrior In The Making

The Go Bloodstock / team continued their fine form on Wednesday posting a midweek double.

2yo c**t SOLDIER OF ROME lived up to his name registering a brave win over 1000m at Kensington under a strong finish. He is another expertly turned out 2yo for G*i and Adrian. The son of SNITZEL was purchased Easter last year with & off renowned breeders SOLDIER OF ROME is a horse we hold in the highest regard and a c**t to follow with a big future. He is the 13th 2yo winner owned by Go Bloodstock this season.

4yo JOURNALISM broke the clock and the track record under a canny ride to land a deserved Sydney win. The win was never in doubt with JOURNALISM maintaining a strong gallop to the line. It is another win for Brett Prebble who remains on 🔥 in the Go Bloodstock silks.

Sir Owen and the team were on course on Saturday for a big day of action headlined by the brilliant win of ARTORIUS owned with & partners. Doubling his Group 1 tally and aided by a super ride by - ARTORIUS sliced through the field in a blockbuster finish. A great training performance by and in this form – ARTORIUS is ready to take on the world once more.

Not to be outdone – homebred 4yo mare THALASSOPHILE becomes the latest stakes winning graduate of our Go Bloodstock breeding program with a last gasp win in the Group 3 Aspiration under a 10/10 ride from and 10/10 training performance from A beautiful filly with a pedigree – THALASSOPHILE will make a lovely broodmare addition in time but has plenty more miles left in her tank.

Our exciting homebred 2yo c**t RED RESISTANCE may have lost his unbeaten record but remains on track for the Golden Slipper where he will be at his peak for and ready to run one hell of a race. An exciting two weeks ahead.

Final mention of the weekend goes to our .training stable veteran ON THE LEAD who is a horse in form and stormed home once more down the Flemington straight to just miss the win. Showing a liking for Melbourne ON THE LEAD has been in great form and a great servant with career earnings north of $500k.

Stakes winning weekend double for Go Bloodstock & Partners C**ts – 3rd Stakes Winning 2yo of the season

Sir Owen and the team were thrilled to see 3yo c**t BEST OF BORDEAUX reclaim his place at the top of the 3yo sprinting rankings with a determined Group 2 win the Roman Consul Stakes at Randwick. We were delighted to partner with on their purchase of this exciting young stallion and it is very pleasing to see BEST OF BORDEAUX back at his best here. Trainer deserves a special mention with her hard work deserving of the win with an A1 ride delivered from Thank you to all to have made this happen. Bring on the Group 1 Coolmore Stakes



2yo c**t KING’S GAMBIT could not have debuted in more impressive fashion in the opening race of the day dismantling the Listed Debutant Stakes in a red hot time for (Is there anyone riding better?) A good looking son of I AM INVINCIBLE racing in the revered silks – he is a very exciting c**t for Sir Owen and partners to look forward to with big targets on his radar. Special mention to expert handlers and to Henry Field who picked this c**t out from birth as a future star.

Go Bloodstock bred PLATINUM JUBILEE – a 2yo daughter and 2nd foal from stakes winning sprinter MISS DEBUTANTE – was impressive in posting an all the way win at Randwick on Monday in the first 2yo trials of the year. Expertly handled by the imperious G*i Waterhouse & Adrian Bott / Tim Clark combination – she looks a filly that might just give G*i Waterhouse her first Gimcrack.

A graduate of the Go Bloodstock Breeding program at Newgate Farm and a graduate of the Magic Millions Sale – Go Bloodstock is excited to have retained a racing interest in PLATINUM JUBILEE who looks set to follow in the footsteps of Group winner QUEEN OF THE BALL (By I AM INVINCIBLE) as a precocious 2yo.
