Big news!!! 🚚🏡📍

I am moving to Victoria for 12 months. It’s been a tough decision and definitely wasn’t made lightly. I want to thank all my clients for their loyalty and support. I have had lots of fun up here with lessons and the horses I’ve had in training.
Keep your eyes peeled for what I get up to in Victoria as I wish to continue my lessons and possibly some more clinics in a new area.

🌞🌞 Dec/Jan Lessons 🌞🌞

Unfortunately due to the severe heat we are experiencing and coming in too. I unfortunately can not risk giving lessons over December/January months. The temp is expected to exceed 31deg and humidity is a high percentage. I can't risk the horse, rider or myself getting heat stroke. Or the horse developing colic. However, I do offer online lessons/training plans which are much easier on the horse, rider and myself over the hotter months. Please keep your horses health and well being as your top priority through these hot months we are coming in too.

Some tips to help your horse through the heat;
- Increase their salt intake
- always provide access to clean and fresh drinking water
- always provide acces to shade and shelter
- do not over rug your horse
- regularly rinse off your horse
- limit your horses exercise

If you are concerned that your horse has developed heat stroke, dehydration or colic contact your vet immediately.
Keep your horses safe 🐴

Arabella & Chex 🌟
Arabella is new to barrel racing, but super keen to get into it. Yesterday we worked on some basic drills and introducing the pattern to herself and her horse. Both Chex and Arabella did a fantastic job soaking in all of the new information and putting it to the pattern. I can’t wait to see how these two progress together, they’re a great team 👏

As we are coming to the end of season, I will have lots of time on my hands!
I have moved to Gordonvale so I am now offering lessons in the area. Depending where you are located, there might be a little travel charge. I will still be doing lessons at our property in Speewah also. If this is something you are interested in or you are wanting further information, please contact me 🥰✨

Just a reminder, I don’t have a lesson horse so I only give lessons to people with their own horses sorry..

My first clinic was a success!! Although it was bloody HOT, the girls defeated the heat and put all their effort into it. This clinic was more of a feeler to see how I want to work things. We worked on the basics of starting horses on the pattern, warm up exercises, drills, pattern work and we did some runs. All the horses picked it up really well. Thank you to the ladies that showed up, listened and worked hard. Your patience will pay off.
After the success I had on the weekend, I’d love to do some more clinics. So keep an eye out for future dates! 🤩❤️‍🔥

Nova came on rodeo road to Laura rodeo. She handled her surroundings very well. She spent some time tied up to the rail while the barrel race was happening. She absolutely loved the company of these kids. Great desensitising! She’s taken everything in very well. I was super happy and impressed with how she handled the 4 days away.

✨ Novalee ✨

I picked up my first outside horse a couple of weeks back. Nova is a 3 yo QH that is with me for a few months for training. I’ll be slowly introducing her to the barrel pattern. There will be a lot involved before we get around 3 drums though. You may see Nova at events while she’s with me just cruising around.
I’m super excited to see how this girl goes over the next few months.

You will still be part of the clinic and involved in all conversations, the only difference is you won’t be horseback.

Hi everyone,
I’ve been a bit quiet on this account lately sorry! I thought I’d update everyone on what I’ve been up to. I’m currently in Teesdale, Victoria getting a horse fit for The Man From Snowy River Riley Ride that starts in 2 weeks time. I’ve been lucky enough to borrow a friends horse for it as the one I had in mind wasn’t quite the right fit for the ride. He’s enjoying a nice holiday and lots of kisses and hugs.
This is Bruce, I can’t wait to show everyone what we get up to on our ride 🤩🥰🤍

Here is a little before and after of Poppy!
She has been home for 1 month now after spending nearly 3 months in agistment. Poppy loves going to the agistment with knee high grass and amazing care. But as she is originally from Victoria she hasn’t fully climatized to the FNQ weather. Poppy thrives off her minerals & supplements to keep her feeling 100%. Poppy is back in full work, on the right feed to give her the energy back she is using and help with forming muscle.
Not only that but she is on the correct supplements to keep her joints, tendon/ligaments & cartilage, skin/coat and hind gut healthy. Therefore she is feeling her best pre season and throughout the season. It is nice to have some before photos to compare to how your horse is looking a little while later.
If you notice your horses coat is dull, not putting on weight, has no energy or some behavioural issues. Maybe look into what you are feeding your horse and ensure it’s getting everything it needs for the activity/sport you are doing! 😌🙌🏽

Meanwhile, Dash is still in agistment having a well deserved holiday looking like a hippo! How awesome is having agistment that is full 24/7 care only 20mins down the road 🤩
