Ok, free to good homes! There ate more bulbs out front. This is a mixed bundle so a lucky dip.

There are dark blue irises, fragrant jonquils, snowdrops, various daffodils an a few grape hyacinths if you're lucky!

Some people have asked to pay. If you want to do that, you're welcome to leave a donation for our gardening adventures in the letterbox with our thanks.

Please be mindful of the others who would also like some... there will be more!!

PM me if you need the address.

I have a fridge absolutely jam packed with duck and chicken eggs! Is there anyone local who would like a regular supply?

My garden is still giving me berries. Not enough to do a substantial amount with, but enough to make a mixed berry jam, one jar at a time! My new favourite!

was a stinker outside today! It wasnt long before I gave up and headed for the shade of the chestnut trees to w**d the beans with our trusty cat Tuffy warding off the gardening gloves and rocks that invade our garden...

Thought I'd share one of our favourite noms with you... just in case you needed a bit of motivation to get started using coriander! 😉 This is an absolutely amazing, flavoursome dip/ spread and never lasts long when we make it. We may eat it with crackers or use it in salad sandwiches, you might like to take it to one of those upcoming Christmas functions!

Coriander Dip
Place

2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of salt
1 Tbsp of black peppercorns
1 cup of washed coriander, roots, stems n' all
1/2 a cup of lime or lemon juice
1 tsp dark brown sugar

Into your blender or thermomix and whizz it up.
Then blend in

3 Tbsp coconut cream ( coconut milk works, but it will be wetter)
2 Tbsp peanut butter
2 sliced spring onions
1 red chilli, seeded and finely sliced.

Chill to set... Easy! This is much better left to sit over night.

Not sure why my video showed as a photo... not so cute as a ranfim photo... try again!

A bit of cuteness for your day! The girls always love a bit of a stretch after a night under lights.

Welcome aboard!

Egelsheg is a place to share the goings on in our kitchen and garden and to offer the excess produce we often have to the local community. We can regularly supply chicken or duck eggs and a wide range of fruits and vegetables at different times of the year. We love to grow things just because we can, so if there is something in particular you would like, we may be able to help out!
