Today we took cisco one of our personal horses to the hack and halter show at Mt pleasent cisco placed 3rd in the lead mare or gelding. Im proud of him. This has been a big week for cisco lots of in and out of the float to ensure he wouldn't freak out.
I have so much love for this little man he is such a beautiful boy

Story time about our oldest horse here at dusty boots horsemenship. This is django he is 24 yrs old he has some health issues witch have made him become a paddock friend for the others. Django is the horse who I started my journey with he was an amazing teacher a very wise man at 15yrs old when I got him he was a horse who would challenge you and push you he is my heart horse he's very special with his blue eye and his personality. He is loved by all he meets

Lovely news Jacky boy has found his new home. We'll all be very sad to see Jack leave us but we have new arrivals coming and new adventures that Jack sadly wouldn't suit. But Jack has found himself a lovely humen who will spoil the hell out of Jack.

Tennesse was my second resuce pony I rescued tennesse 4 years ago she so scared if humens had a fear of having the halter put on she had a hernia everyone said she wouldn't be any good for anything. Now tennesse is the horse no body believes me that she is so quite she has her days where she cracks a tantrum and it isn't her day we all have days like that dont we. I am so in love with this little girl. She is my horse and will stay with me because she has been through hell and I won't rehome her

We try to make sure our kids spent as much time learning what we do and spending time with the horses as the rest of the family.

Training horses isn't about making them listen its about building the bond to ask them to do something and they do it because they trust that you will be there..

Yesterday our horses played a part in Sam's auntys funeral. These two stood beautifully through the ceremony.
Learning to stand tied up is a very important lesson for horses to learn
