It's cobberdog spam. Sorry not sorry.
We have been away having a much needed holiday and these photos are a mix of from while we were away and getting awesome updates on our furbubs, through to today finding some outside time when the rain has stopped.

Who has heard of 'Scratch' pet food kibble.

Until recently I hadn't. I was given some in a great container, which I love, by one of our cobberdog lovers.

WOW, this stuff is awesome. I thought the price was a bit ###xxy, but now, I am hooked for my three cobbs.

I hopped on their page, typed in the cobbs. information and got back how much they each need, calculated on whether its for 50% or 100% of their food intake daily (I'm doing 50%)

Now I know how much kibble they should be having vs what I have been giving them. I even got a measuring scoop in my first order.

They are eating less, getting the nutrients, and it is lasting longer so it doesn't feel so bad in regards to price.

So, having discovered I have been overfeeding them, I have noticed at dinner time they are not so much in a hurry to eat now.

Don't get me wrong 'witching hour' starts in our home at 330pm until I feed them at 5pm... if I can handle them, otherwise it may be 430pm. But I have noticed that they are savouring their meals a bit more, not so much woofing them.

So far I really like the product that my lot are getting, and more importantly so do they, Win Win. I recently got a referral code if anyone wants to try it. See below for the code. I guess you would copy and paste if you wanted to give it a try.

I was thinking after my post this afternoon how easy it is to jump the gun so to speak when you are excited about upcoming puppies from a honeymoon that was had. I may have done that today.

Did you know that although I posted about the two honeymoons it will be approximately 4 months before puppies are ready for their new families.

That we plan a mating based on what trait we are hoping for, size, coat, conformation, temperament etc

That mating could take up to a year to plan ahead.

Our girls come into heat approximately every 6 months, however their bodies ultimately dictate when. For instance Gracies' sister Polly came into her heat 6 months ago and Gracie has waited until just now.

Sophie has also just chosen to come into heat for the second time.
Go figure they do it at the same time. We have been planning, and hoping but it is on their time line not ours.

This is why it has been somewhat of a surprise, not the matings but the time frames.

I need to write this to remind myself that although we had litters go to their homes over the last couple of months, that wont be happening again until late February next year, maybe early March depending on the girls.

So over the space of a year we will have 4 litters from different girls.

We also decide if the timing is right for us as well as in Tasmania, litters are definitely a tad easier in summer rather than in winter.

All the while in the background planning litters for when their is a need ie buyers with specific wants and desires.

We are so glad our plans are coming together and that we can continue to fine tune our breeding program, to bring the best pupstars we can to you.

What a few weeks its been here at GN HQ. The big news is that we have had two honeymoons recently.
Gracie and Rafferty should have puppies Christmas day at this stage, and Sophie and Obi one week later on new years day. So excited for these matchings.

Having just shared my chicken and salad wrap this seems appropriate 😋

We love our dogs to bits, but it doesn't mean they are perfect. I came home to this after leaving them in their bedroom for half an hour... And yes, it was the feet section of the recliner, cheeky buggers, if not for the evidence left behind I wouldn't have known...
