Can all dogs swim? 🐶
Most dogs can swim, but there are some larger breeds of dogs that cannot swim or will have a much harder time staying afloat than others. If your dog knows how to swim the first time they are put into water, it does not mean that they can keep their bodies afloat in the water for extended periods of time.
Even though your dog may go directly into doggy paddling in the water, they will likely tire out fast and struggle to keep swimming for extended periods of time. Actual, safe swimming will take some time and practice for your dog to master, just as it is when you learn to swim for the first time. If your dog does know how to swim, after some practice they will be able to paddle without splashing frantically, they will enjoy being in the water, they will be alert, and will not try to rush out of the pool as quickly as they possibly can. If your dog does not know how to swim or they cannot swim, they will generally panic and splash around with their paws to stay afloat. They may also be very fearful of the water.

Make sure you are always with your dog when they ae swimming, help your fury friend feel safe😁🐕.

3 simple tricks to teach your dog this year 🐶!

🐕Shake Paws :
Have your dog greet your friends by shaking hands (or paws). This is an easy dog trick that you can usually train a dog to do in a few short training sessions. Most dogs naturally like using their paws and will enjoy the positive attention they get when doing this trick.

🐕 Give Kiss:
Training a dog to kiss is one of the easiest tricks to teach. While not everyone enjoys a big, wet doggie smooch, this dog trick usually goes over very well with kids. By putting a little treat on your cheek and adding the command, you'll soon be able to get all the affection you want from your dog on demand!

🐕 Roll Over:
Most people train a dog to roll over in several small parts and work up to getting the dog to roll over all the way. It may take some effort to train a dog to do this dog trick, but it is well worth it. It's lots of fun, and it also serves as a building block for several other dog tricks, such as playing dead.

🐶Games to play with your dog

🎁Hidden Treasure
All you need to do is collect a few small boxes or containers and arrange them upside down. Place a favorite dog training treat underneath one of them and encourage your pup to start sniffing around. When your dog accurately identifies which container the treat is under reward them with the hidden treasure.

🤫Hide-and-Seek
You likely loved this game when you were a kid, so why not enjoy it with your dog? For this game to be successful, your dog will have to understand basic commands, such as sit, stay, and come. Lead them to a room and ask them to stay, then leave and hide in a different location. Call their name to encourage them to come find you. Celebrate the big accomplishment, once they’ve figured out where you are.

🐕Play-Wild Sits
Now, this is a fun exercise. While your dog is on a leash, rile them up as much as possible — you can run around cheering, jumping up and down — anything to get your pup as excited as possible. Then you’ll instruct your dog to sit. This may take some practice, depending on how hyperactive your dog is, but after a few tries, your dog should be able to go from a state of excitement to sitting patiently on command.

Here are some things to always remember about:

🍖Feed your dog a high quality dog food.
Read the label of a prospective food. The first couple ingredients should be some kind of meat, not meat by-product or a grain.

💧Give your dog water.
Food is not the only thing your dog needs to survive. Water is just as, if not more, important. Give your dog open access to water at all times.

👨‍⚕️Make sure you have a good, reliable veterinarian.
A good way to choose a vet is to see if he or she answers your questions promptly and knowledgeably and to see how they interact with your pet.

🚿Keep your dog's coat clean.
Dirty coats can lead to secondary skin infections, so be prepared to bathe your dog with a mild dog shampoo if it gets really dirty.

Always make sure that your dog is happy and healthy and it will be so grateful for it.
