Axel didn’t go too long without a new sibling!

We spent some time being foster carers for dogs in need and brought in this bundle of joy.

This little girls name is Hela, initially called Shadow (because she would not leave dads side).

We took her in as a foster puppy and she won our hearts over almost instantly. Arriving as a timid 6 month old Kelpie x. She had been abandoned at the Burdekin pound and was most likely stunted because of malnourishment. Which can be seen in the first photo.

It took a while but she opened her heart to us and then we found out how how big of a heart this puppy has, we knew we couldn’t part with her.

Hela would be our first Foster Fail.

Our third puppy Nami has joined the family! Axel and Hela love her and she is such a great addition to the family. We went to an adoption day and went home with a fiesty fire cracker of a puppy that we knew would fit right in, and she did. Nami tired out hela while they played all day she and opened up Axel and helped him with his anxiety. We feel like she was the piece of the puzzle this family was missing. We love this little girl and can't wait to go on many adventures with all of our furr-babies. #adoptdontshop #adoptionday #puppy #furrbaby

Axel here was rescued with his malnourished Shar Pei mother and siblings at 3 weeks old. The local pet rescue nursed this family back to health and ensured that the mother and puppies all found their forever homes! One adoption day, Axel “chose” me and I fell for this big boy with all my heart. We brought him home a day later and called him family. This is Axel at 2.5 months old. #AdoptDontShop #RescuePuppy #MyLove
