Hi Everyone, firstly Happy New Years for tmrw and please stay safe no matter what youre upto tonight.

Secondly, the new year seems to be starting with a bang for us! We are flooded in at Siratsa Park (not a bad place to be) not sure for how long as more heavy rain with storms are predicted for this afternoon and tmrw. This situation is likely to impact anyone with furbabies leaving us in the next two weeks as we can't get to vet appointments and it may also affect delivery of furbabies if they have been scheduled. So please check with us 48hrs before any delivery dates for an update to see if it's possible to still deliver or rescheduling is required.

We take all apsects of our breeding program very seriously and even more serious when we are approached by a people who are looking for a companion/service/support animal for a special needs family member.
We have had quite a number of these requests over the last few years and have always chosen correctly when allocating a furbaby to the family.

Here is one of those beautiful stories, Robyn just sent us a beautiful update...we knew exactly which little furkid would suit her son, SIRATSA FUDGE.

"I just had to show you both how amazing Fudge is with my boy . He plays all day with him and keeps him calm and happy . It’s very hard for disabled children to have friends but Bryce has Fudge and it’s such an amazing bond they have. I wanted to show you both that the cats you breed are way more than just cats , they are companions , friends and family . Whatever bad times you both had this year just know that what you are doing , breeding these calm and beautiful animals for us is very special . I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude , Thank you both very much ,Robyn, Bryce and Fudgy."

We delivered two of our furkidz to their furever families today. Always so beautiful to see the smiles. SIRATSA CHOMP & SIRATSA CALEDONIA ROSE now home safe enjoying cuddles with their new hoomans.
And we are home enjoying our amazing gifts from our happy clients and friends. Thank you so much, we appreciate your kindness 👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻😻xx

SIRATSA.COM has changed the Scottish Fold breed in Australia. A change for the better for this amazing breed of cat that now has a bright future.

"Our Scottish Breeding program is much more to us than having cute kittens around. It's a passion and a professional dedication to ensuring this breed survives forever and does not become extinct. Extinct because of the poor breeding practices that plagued the breed for decades, before we took up the challenge almost 18 years ago. Sadly, there are still some breeders doing abhorent things to the breed with greed being the motivator. That just destroys the breed and more importantly devastes families who fall victims to their poor breeding practices." said Jayce Haskins, General Manager.

Founders and husbands Jayce & Matt Haskins have combined approximately 25 years of medical training and practical work as an Emergency Paramedic and Registered Nurse. Working in a plethora of Australia’s and New Zealand's most prestigious advanced and leading research Hospitals. As a Registered Nurse Matt also specialised in infectious disease, Critical Care and a Post Graduate Degree in Emergency Nursing. In addition to that, he also has a Certificate in Rural Chemotherapy Administration and also a Certified Immunisation (Vaccination) Nurse. Jayce, after leaving his role as an Emergency Paramedic, decided to work in Radiology and Mental Health.

The combined professionals skills that they have, have proved invaluable in running a successful breeding program since 2007 which has seen SIRATSA.COM never producing a kitten with SFOCD nor a kitten more susceptible to any form of feline arthritis, which can affect all breeds of cats. Their skill-sets, learned, practiced, and adopted, have been well cemented. "Best Practice" protocols are second nature to them, and they are stringently adhered to after working successfully in the healthcare sector for so long. They have always applied similar best practice protocols to their breeding program and always will to ensure SIRATSA.COM will... continue to lead the way!
