Max is a very sweet boy, who under 12 months old is still looking for his forever home. Max is a sharpai x. His favourite things are all dogs he’s met, food, going for walks and feeling safe.
He’s learning to like pats, learning to let people love him. In the short time that he’s been with us, he’s opened up his big heart and come to us for lots of licks and pats. He wants to be loved so much but will let you when he’s ready.
Max is toilet trained, walks really well on the lead with another dog. He’s still a bit unsure walking without them.
He’s great with calm kids if they give him the time he needs to feel comfortable. He’s met sheep and chickens. He hasn’t been left alone-only with our dogs. Max is just so sweet.
Max needs a home with another doggy friend.
Max has mild elbow dysplasia which is being medically managed with fish oil and monitoring exercise.

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN FOR ELLIE, currently based on the Central Coast.
Ellie is approx 5 yrs old.
Little Ellie
This little treasure was left behind when her owners moved out. We have no information on her background. I named her Ellie as she has long legs like Elle McPherson! She is a gentle soul who I feel has had to survive. Yet she is loving. She accepts dogs of all sizes as her companions. She isn’t fazed by the resident cats. She is getting used to walking on the lead however I feel she probably walked off lead previously. She enjoys car rides. She is not a fan of the cold & likes to bury under the doona at night. This little girl just needs to have a bit more dedicated training. Would suit a family environment where she will get spoilt like she deserves. Happy to be outdoors enjoying the sunshine or snuggled on the lounge. Will fit into any household

Meet Kate!
Kate and her brother were handed into a vet clinic after being found abandoned under a house. They had no human socialisation up until recently. For that reason Kate is very timid and reserved. She will need an owner that will be patient and gain her trust. Kate and her brother are always playing and snuggling together, a home where they could go together would be great, but not essential as they would adapt give the time. Kate will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outside dangers. If you would like to meet Kate, please meet her at PETstock Tuggerah.
Included in her adoption fee is:
🐾 Vaccination,
🐾 Desexing,
🐾 Microchipped,
🐾 Flea/Worm treated,

Meet William!
William and his sister did not have the best start in life so he is quite timid and doesn't like to be picked up. However the change in him since he has been in care is amazing. He is a very intelligent boy and has learnt so much by intently watching his foster mum and brother. William has learnt how to play with ping pong balls, he loves playing with the feather wand and rumbles around with his foster brother. William loves his food and always uses his litter tray. A quiet home with other fur siblings would be best suited for him. He will be timid once being in his new forever home, but given time and love he will become more trusting and show you how purr-fect he can be. William will need to remain indoors to keep him safe from outside dangers. If you would like to meet William, please meet him at PETstock Tuggerah.

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN for Poppy. BLACK & WHITE PUP in the video. Approx 4-6 month old female staffy x. 💕Poppy is toilet trained and will let you know she needs to go out if the door is closed. 💕She is loving, affectionate but also very playful. 💕She is getting used to have a lead on and I think will be easy to train once she is a bit older and with more practice. 💕She loves to play with large breed and small breed dogs once she meets and greets them first. 💕Sit on command. 💕She gets the zoomies like all pups so needs a good zoomie buddy or lots of walks/play time. 💕Play barks and play nips with those that play ‘rough fun’ with her. 💕She falls asleep on dog bed but ends up in bed as she likes to touch you to feel safe I guess. 💕Loves to lounge about if that’s what her human buddy is doing just so she can be close to them. 💕She can now fetch a ball and return it and drop it ready to go again. 💕Treats for her training so far has been doing well. Even using just kibble. 💕She was fine around our bunny cage, just walked around it exploring but did not try to jump in. 💕Loves kids from what I have seen. Ages 5 plus she has been exposed to. 💕Recall training has her responding to her name. I can say “poppy come” and she will immediately come. 💕She has been trained to sit on command and with her meals, she has learned the ‘ stay’ command and patiently waits to be told she can eat. 💕She has learned to use the doggy door successfully. 💕She responds to basic commands like “no poppy” Or “ out poppy” 💕We put her out when she gets the zoomies and over playful and block the doggy door. 💕She clearly gets it because as soon as her and pixie start to zoom I just say out! And they both dart out the doggy door.😂 💕She has been blocked from coming inside when no one is home, which is not often. Initially was a bit sooky but has learned that when we get home, she can come inside for a cuddle and rel

Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Peggy’s Promise has two sides of what we do:
Peggy's saves animals from local and rural pounds, we also take public surrenders to stop animals ending up in our local pounds. Our aim is to stop the cycle of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies so where possible we always ensure that we de-sex every female in a house hold. When taking on puppies or kittens, it’s part of our policy (last litter program) to ensure all females are de-sexed and if an owner won't allow us to de-sex we cannot assist with the re-homing of their puppies or kittens.
When rescuing from local pounds and shelters we also ensure that we take on the mum with her puppies/kittens. This way we can de-sex mum and her litter when of age, and re-home them all. We will never leave a mum behind at a shelter.
Peggy's Promise aims to assist pet owners on the NSW Central Coast that have no other support, by contributing to the pets basic needs and prevent owners needing to surrender their much loved companion. The project is run by volunteers and is heavily reliant on compassion for those who are in genuine need. There are many people who go without themselves to care for those who may be their only family or friend, their pet. We do not receive any government funding and each case is assessed individually to decide how we may assist. We work alongside local homeless shelters, disability support services, hospitals, DV services, police and other community support facilities.
ALL contributions are made by way of donation.
We are a registered charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
