To all who were wanting puppy classes, I am going to run a 5 week puppy class commencing Saturday 3rd August at 8am.
Please ensure that your pup has had its 2nd vaccination and is in good health.
We use treats and toys for motivation and reward, so please bring your pups favourite things.
Classes will run for 45min.
Cost for the 5 weeks is $90

Daylight savings ends April 7 2024!

When we turn the clocks back and days become shorter, we will no longer be able to accommodate evening classes.
New class times will be as follows....

Saturday.
Beginners 9-10am
Intermediate 10:30-11:30am
Advanced 12-1pm
Commencing 13th April.

As an alternative to Saturday, I will run an additional class on Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-4:30pm

Need to work on dog socialisation in a safe environment? Does your dog lunge towards and bark at other dogs when out on a walk? Have you ever considered training your dog in a group setting? At Dog Logic Australia, we provide a safe environment for you to learn the necessary skills to best manage your dog, establishing leadership, companionship and a bond with your dog whilst gaining knowledge and support.

Just a reminder to all the Saturday obedience students. This week we will be training on Sunday. Same times as Saturday classes. Please let me know if you can not attend. Many thanks and have a great week.

And something from our "advanced class" where we work up to "off lead work". Only achievable when you have established communication, trust and leadership. Our 2 border collies are highly work motivated, but this means that distraction of moving objects such as rabbits, birds and cars, sometimes just the wind, is enough to distant these two. Their owners have put in a lot of work to develop communication and leadership to get to this level of training which is a huge credit to them.

Some more from our traing sessions today. Having fun, socialisation and connection are key elements when training your dog! It's time to book your training session today!

People often ask......." what do you teach at your obedience sessions" We teach heel work, communication, leadership, recall, stay. All necessary skills to gain trust, connection and well behaved, happy and confident dogs. We are heading for better weather, so now is the time to get out there with your dog. You won't regret it. These "beginners" are in their 3rd week of training and have already come so far with their training.

A great night out last night, doing what we love. Maverick did a great job and I learned a lot about handling and body positioning.

When this couple joined our training sessions just a couple of weeks ago, they laughed when I explained what we were aiming to achieve and said "Good luck".
