You know what a new year means… new year new horse 😉 And Charlie is by far the most perfect gentleman to welcome into your family!

CHARLIE
12yr old 15.3hh Thoroughbred Gelding

He has 3 lovely ground covering paces with the temperament of a true gentleman.
Charlie is perfect on the ground, not pushy and great to wash, float (angle or straight), rug, farrier, etc etc.

I think Charlie would excel in any chosen discipline, especially as a interschool, confidence building, competitive mount with his flashy trot and canter for the dressage whilst having a correct, brave and scopey jump.

He has had fortnightly sports massage treatments by a qualified professional so is feeling in tip top shape for his new rider!

Charlie is a reliable, safe mount however still needs a confident rider who can keep progressing his training.

Do you remember the lovely Blush? 😍

Sales horse ‘Blush’ was sold within 2 weeks of advertisement, sight unseen to NSW 2 months ago and safe to say she is being ADORED by her new owner 🩷

She even has a little miniature friend.. Cooper! Her previous owner and I are so happy with the home she has gone to and can’t wait to see what Bridget and Blush get up to!

“I brought Blush sight unseen from Elena and my experience purchasing Blush through Elena was amazing, she was always so accomodating and honest. As I had not meet blush when I asked for photos or videos Elena was always willing to get any that I may have wanted. Even without asking for them she would send me update videos which was lovely.
She took Blush to the veterinary clinic for the pre-purchase exam which would be out of her way, but she was more than willing.
Once Blush had passed her vet check and I had decided to buy her, Elena was generous enough to let me agist Blush at her property for 2 weeks until I could have my transport company pick her up and bring her to Sydney.

~ Friends Of Werribee HT ~

What an amazing and successful weekend in Werribee competing Mr Muso in the EVA95.
Dressage was super, scoring a 71%!! Definitely one of our better tests we’ve done so i was very happy. We were sitting in 1st place out of 30 after dressage 💪🏻

Our showjumping is something we’ve been working very very hard on to try and improve and well this weekend definitely proved that it’s paid off! An almost foot perfect round for a double clear kept our 1st place!

Then it was XC day.. the fun bit of eventing 😉 The warm up saw quite a spicy, excited Muso (as did the start box 🤣) and that carried on for the first half of the course but he soon realised we did not have to revisit his racehorse days and we weren’t jumping the 4* jumps, so he calmed down and gave me the most confident, amazing round to date. We came in double clear again, to finish on his dressage score of 29.0 to bring home the win in the large 95 class!
He also won the highest placed OTTB in the whole of the 95 divisions and I am privileged to say I won the Kolora Stud Cash Award (highest placed Junior riding an OTTB). Can’t thank all of the sponsors, committee members and volunteers enough for all of their hard work to make the event so successful. A massive thank you to my parents, sponsors and my coach Megan Jones Eventing Team for all of their continued support. And also to Equine Advancementfor helping Muso look and feel his best!!

Wow, wow, wow, this horse amazes me every single time 🥰🥹 Muso jumped brilliantly over the two days, jumping some pretty decent fences and me getting some really good things to take away and keep training on at home 🥳 Feeling very excited and confident for Werribee at the end of the month!

Ollie:
Dressage 😍
Ollie’s dressage was by far the highlight of this weekend!! doing his best canter work ever in a test!! so calm and relaxed which i was stoked about! Very happy with how he’s coming along in the dressage.

Showjumping 😭
Unfortunately, as many people would know the grounds at Strath were less than ideal for jumping. I warmed up with the intentions of pulling out if i needed to. I went in feeling pretty iffy about the ground. The first jump came up and i got the perfect stride but Ollie just knocked the back rail as it was so boggy and wet he struggled to jump. I went around and Ollie was getting more and more anxious and jumping very unsure. I came up to the 2 stride double and Ollie just physically couldn’t do it. He just slid straight into it twice so i called it a day and retired. Definitely a humbling experience but i’m so glad i pulled out when i did because the last thing i’d want to do is to scare Ollie even more. Because i retired i unfortunately didn’t get to do XC 😞

Parker:
Dressage 🤷🏽‍♀️
Parker warmed up quite excited and forward. Definitely not the best test he’s done but not the worst either. He ended up scoring a generous 64.06% and was sitting 7th out of 16.

Showjumping 🥴
With a bit of a stumble in the warm up leaving me almost to fall off Parker got quite nervous and unsure. The ground definitely didn’t help either. He went back to his old ways of cat leaping and flying in the air 😅 because of this and the ground i took it extremely slow and trotted a couple fences. We ended up with 1.2 time penalties but jumped around clear.

XC 😳
Parker warmed up fantastic feeling so ready! We went out and he was rather distracted so the whole time i was just trying to get him to focus and listen to me. It was EXTREMELY messy and all over the place but we got around clear with 5.6 time penalties for being too fast 💨

We ended up 8th. A bit of a disappointing weekend to say the least but thuan just gives more opportunities for training!!

Black Bates Elevation jump saddle 16.5inch with contrast stitching, easy change gullet system and premium adjustable CAIR system

Excellent condition! I’ve had it on everything from flat backed Appaloosa to high withered OTT Thoroughbreds.

Comes with Bates 135cm leather stirrup leathers and fleece Bates saddle protector.

Currently has a White gullet (Extra Wide) in but can be easily changed. Got checked over by my personal saddle fitter a month ago.

Puts you in a great position and very easy to jump in.

- The highlight of the day was Ollie’s dressage test! We changed a few things up with his bridle and I think it made a huge difference. He did the most relaxed, calm and consistent test he’s ever done so I am stoked. A bit annoyed with myself for having a course error as I halted in the wrong spot 😭 but Ollie was amazing anyway! We are currently sitting in =27th out of 34 with a 60.26%... which tbh is a lot better than we’ve been getting previously! So so excited to tackle our first 95 XC tomorrow afternoon... the course is big but really nice so I think Ollie will boss around it 💪🏻

- Parker was absolutely amazing as always doing a really nice and sweet test. Few things to work on with our transitions and long rein walk but other than that he was fab! Quite disappointed with how he scored... very harsh scoring to get a 59.34% and to be sitting 20th out of 24 😞 bit disheartening but just looking forward to the jumping tomorrow!

Woody is a 14yr old 15hh Appaloosa with a heart of gold. He is currently in paddock condition having not been worked in just under a year as I purchased a new horse and haven’t had the time for him. He would suit someone wanting a companion or a trail riding horse. Woody absolutely loves trail riding however prefers to have company. He is amazing to catch and float. He is currently barefoot but use to have all four shoes when in work. He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming and feet.

Woody can be strong on the ground so needs an EXPERIENCED late teen or adult to handle him but has always looked after me under saddle. Woody has taught me so much about riding and handling a horse. He benefits from full time paddocking so small yards is not an option.

Woody has been a very important part of our family and so he is treated like a king and I hope to find another home that treats him the same.
