Lunch. The company was born out of his incredible story of adversity. At five months old, Larry suffered debilitating injuries as the result of a dog attack. Yet
throughout the ordeal, our brave b

oy never lost his spirit or determination. While being
nursed back to health he was hand-fed the best diet possible to aid in his recovery. Today, we are overjoyed to say that Larry is happier and healthier than ever! And to support other dogs in need, a portion from all our sales will be donated to animal
charities across Australia. We will also be making food donations to a number of local
shelters.

It all started when founder Aaron’s fur baby Larry had a rough run-in with another pooch five years back. With a smashed skull and jaw, Larry couldn’t chomp down on regular kibble. So Aaron whipped up homemade meals fit for a doggie king to nurse him back to health.🐾🙅‍♂️

And when Capaldi, the mastermind behind an All-Star chef ensemble in the noughties, got wind of our delicious creations, he was all in! 🍲 “We were planning dog biscuits at first, but hey, this subscription-based dog food delivery service idea? That’s the real treat!”

Welcome to episode one of “Wassup Dawg”! Through this series I’m going to take you on a journey with some of our Larry’s Lunch family, many of whom have become great friends. Easy to say most of them I wouldn’t know today if it wasn’t for our beautiful dogs. Joining me today is Pat and his beautiful boy Keanu. Pat is an extremely talented skateboarder who is well respected and loved amongst his peers, and probably one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Keanu was also our very first Larry’s Lunch customer, and two years on he’s still loving it! Dogs bring our communities together in many different ways. People of all walks of life seem to find themselves connected through their dogs. I can tell you I’ve personally met so many people through dog parks and formed some of the greatest and most genuine bonds. Enjoy!

Wow! As of today, 50,000 Larry’s Lunch meals have officially left our kitchen to homes right across Australia. We beganthe Larry’s Lunch journey after Larry suffered life threatening injuries and we were unable to find food that would give him all the nutritional needs it would take to make a full recovery. Using my knowledge and experience in the wholefoods industry along with an amazing animal nutritionist, it’s safe to say we accomplished that and we are now helping so many other dogs live their best lives. We want to send a massive thanks and show of appreciation to our Larry’s Lunch family, friends and supporters. As some of you know, we have completely bootstrapped this journey with no loans or outside money, so achieving this milestone though good old fashioned hard work and dedication means the absolute world to us. This is a challenge we took on through necessity, adversity and having invested ourselves deeply into every decision and ounce of work it’s taken to make Larry’s Lunch possible. We are so excited for the future as we are only just getting started!

Gary is a business owner and family man, and knows the importance of giving your customers a product that’s produced from that place of love. Gary’s hard to miss even behind the counter, standing at 6’5 and everyone who passes by gives him a smile and wave. He provides not only the best quality meat, but something money can’t buy: kindness. That’s something that’s close to our hearts too. Absolutely loved our chat, Gary’s a genuinely amazing guy, and truly the best in the meat biz. 🔪🥩
