Earlier in the week I caught Mum tidying up the sewing room, she was really cursing and saying "Just what am I going to do with all these bits of fabric?" So I chirped in and said to her well why don't you just make them into little kitten jumpers? After all most of them are bits left over from really popular fabrics.

Well she turned around and said what a brilliant idea that was and how clever of me to think of that.

So here's the deal - the jumpers in the photos are all Size 1 Kitten, that's the purrfect size for when babies first go home at around 13 weeks old and they have lovely big arms that allow for baby to grow.

Don't leave it too long as some of the jumpers there is only one of, others more are available. And they are available now at a special price of 3 for $69 - that's these fabrics only!

WOW! that's all I could say when I saw this little jumper earlier today.

Spring is here and its starting to get a bit warmer now. Time to put away those really warm jumpers and onesies and go for no sleeves.
So how about a jumper in this goooorgeous fabric called "Graffiti Wall" . And if you wanted you could always add another colour instead of the black trim - that's up to you.

Be quick before the fabric runs out - Bruce, Lourdie and I have already put our orders in 😀

Look what a difference a different coloured trim can make to the same fabric!

Here “Bluey & Friends” has been trimmed three different ways - giving quite different looks.

When choosing a trim for your next babies jumper just look at the colours featured in the fabric, choose one and then ask if it is available 😻

MY NEW DENIM WEAR🙀

Spring seems to be here at last and although there’s no need for my fleece onesies anymore I do like something a bit warm for evenings and the cooler days.
So what do you think about this? It’s actually my first time wearing denim. Mum always says denim jeans are just one of those things you can wear to lots of places, you can dress them up or down (whatever that means😽)
The fabric is still a cotton lycra so nice and stretchy.

Enjoy your weekend - won’t be wearing my denim as it’s 25 today!

Have your boys and girls got a jumper with just the one opening for their front legs?
Well it just happens to be my most favourite style, Bruce rather likes it too.
I thought I'd show you a picture of this batch of one opening jumpers that Mum posted out this week. And of course these fabrics are available in other styles if that is what you'd prefer.

Look at these gorgeous Long Sleeved Jumpers and Onesies, they are made out of the Lovely Plush Fleece that I showed you a couple of weeks ago.
It's super stretchy so really great for relaxing in.
The Alphabet fabric has a purple background and the Little Turtles has too as well as a nice blue colour. And to make your jumper special just choose your favourite colour for the trim!

Hope your keeping nice and warm, we still have to have our heat pad it's just so so cold!

We have a variety of different warmer fabrics to choose from when selecting the “purrfect” fabric to choose for warmer Jumpers and Onesies.
- COTTON SPANDEX (warmer)
this is the same lovely four way stretch fabric as the one we use for our regular jumpers but a heavier weight
- FRENCH TERRY is a knit fabric similar to jersey and a thinner style of fleece with small uncut loops on its underside making it great for absorbing moisture. Most of our French Terry is 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex, four-way stretch and is ideal for making sphynxwear.
- WAFFLE WEAVE is a lovely soft fabric with 25% stretch (horizontally) Made in Europe from 100% cotton & Oeko-Tex Certified
- FLEECE FABRIC/TRACKSUIT FABRIC often called sweatshirt fleece, is similar to French Terry, the difference being that the underside has had the loops give a fluffy finish. Most Fleece is 100% cotton and very little stretch so is better combined with cotton spandex.
- EUROPEAN FLEECE we purchase this fabric from Europe, it is low loft 100% polyester base flannel styled fabric with a lovely soft feel. The fabric has very little stretch so we always recommend using it along with cotton spandex for added stretch.
- VELOUR FLEECE a soft plush fabric similar to velvet. Sometimes, but not always, stretchy so check the details on individual photos.
- MINKY FLEECE also known as plush fabric or microfiber fabric, is made from 100% polyester fibres that are knitted into fabrics of varying weights and pile heights. Most Minky fabric is one-sided, meaning the plusher fur-like texture is only on the top side.
- POLAR FLEECE is the thicker of our fleeces, sometimes has very little stretch and is 100% polyester. Polar Fleece is generally two-sided, with the “fleece” texture on both sides.
- MICRO FLEECE although similar is much softer than Polar Fleece. It is also quite stretchy.
- TEDDY FLEECE soft with a loopy texture - boucle type finish. Not as thick as some fleeces. 100% polyester.
- SNUGGLE FLEECE is extremely soft and cuddly with a soft woolly underside, perfect for really cold weather. No stretch, 100% Polyester.
-PLUSH/SQUISH double sided stretch minky.
It’s so super cuddly and nice and stretchy, 95% Polyester 5% Spandex

Are you about to bring a new baby home?

Today I thought I'd tell you a bit about the Kitten Jumpers that Mum makes for little ones.
The jumpers are designed with large open leg holes that join into a large neckband - you see this makes it more difficult for babies to get out of their jumpers. Most fabrics are cotton spandex which is 95% cotton and has a four way stretch AND it means that as baby grows the jumper will still fit as a little crop top.
Jumpers in this style come in two different sizes, Size 1 is what you will need ready for when baby comes home.
So don't leave it till the last minute get your new babies jumpers ordered now - there are over 100 fabrics to choose from!

Well if you had called into my place today you would have thought you were in a beauty parlour!
We had the works - a bath, ears cleaned, nails clipped and then cleaned and so it went on. Not the most fun day I can assure you.
Of course I wore my Dressing Gown to keep warm after my bath and while Mum performed my treatments.
This made me think it's a long time since I did a post about Dressing Gowns and some of you might never have seen them before.
They are generally made out of one on the plain coloured fleeces and are fantastic for keeping warm for those special cuddles at night. Of course they can be made out of any fabric you like - imagine if they were made out of Hello Kitty or Winnie the Pooh fabrics with fleece backing - how cool would that be!

I love this new fabric called "ALIENS" in fact it has to be my latest fave.
It sure looks great made up as a Onesie and as a little jumper for a new baby!
Time I had a new Onesie - maybe if I behave Mum will make me an Alien one. 🤞🤞🤞
