Hello everyone!! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year 🥰

We are so excited to be back training with classes starting back this weekend!! We still have a couple of spots left for puppy school and for our foundation dog training course. If you welcomed a new furry family member this school holidays, or would simply like some more training for your older pooch, please get in touch to book your spot 🐶

We are also taking bookings for our intermediate, advanced and out and about classes starting next weekend!

We can’t wait to see everyone back at class again soon!! Happy training 🐕 😊 ❤️

Now taking bookings for the next round of Puppy School and adult dog training classes in Torquay.

‼️This is the last round in Torquay until October and the 2nd last round for the year! ‼️

Start date: 26th of July 🗓️
Duration: 6 weeks
Cost: $220.00
Location: Torquay Surf Life Saving Club
When: Tuesday evenings

Oakley, Labrador, working on his focus around other dogs.
Bentley, Pomeranian cross, working on counter conditioning and desensitising him to other dogs.

Arki, Great Dane, working on loose leash walking and overall focus.

Koa, German Shepherd, working on not bombarding guests at the front door, loose leash walking and leaving distractions alone.

Saphy, cattle dog, working on loose leash walking and ignoring dogs and people while walking.

Freddie, jack russle, working on recall around distractions.

Arlo, border collie, working on reactivity to strangers inside the house.

Not pictured: Zoe, bordoodle, worked on building confidence in a busy public space. Beau, German shepherd, working on loose leash walking and engagement in a busy environment. Karen is our wonderful administrator here at Ocean Edge Dog Training. She is handles all enquieries, bookings, emails, phone calls and payments!!

If you’ve ever sent an email or called our number, it’s likely you’ve been responded to by Karen 😊

Karen absolutely loves dogs and currently has a senior Jack Russle who she adores called Roxy.

🌟 MEET THE TEAM 🌟 “Lou”

Louise, or Lou, is our other trainer here at Ocean Edge Dog Training. You’ll see her around classes assisting with various training skills and providing an extra pair of hands to anyone who needs it!

Lou has completed her Certificate IV in Animal Training and Behaviour through the Delta Institute, and has previously been taking puppy classes with Bellarine Vet.

She has two dogs at home, Woody the Golden Retreiver, who is a retired therapy dog, and Lucy, the Corgi, who is just starting out on her training journey. 💕 Thanks for being apart of our team Lou!!
