🐕Do you pamper your pooch?

This pet dryer is being recalled as there is a risk of serious injury or death from electrocution - an incident has already occurred.

The metal enclosure of the product is not grounded. The heating element can melt the insulation of internal wiring and cause the product to become live with electricity when used.

It was sold on Amazon and eBay.

Stop using the product immediately and disconnect from power outlet. Consumers should contact Advwin Trading to arrange a full refund or replacement product.

Foster care found - thank you 🤩

Saint is in desperate need of a foster carer so he can have surgery. His foster carers can’t do the surgery and want him moved. We are needing a kind soul to foster Saint so he can get his surgery.

Our boy Saint is a lovely dog and very well behaved at home. He is completely house trained and as you can see crate trained. Unfortunately Saint can’t be housed with other pets, but can be placed with well behaved kids.

He will need someone at home for at least a month, then can be left for half days building up to full days. Saint is such a deserving dog and we are desperate to find a solution. It’s left us feeling disheartened that we have no one willing to help Saint despite our efforts to find someone.

Ideally Saint will need to be within 30 minutes drive of Riverton, but we will make it work anywhere in Perth. If you can help Saint through surgery, please email us [email protected] 🙏

All costs are covered by our rescue and we supply everything to help him through his recovery.

It's true. I do miss you all. I miss the love, hugs and licks from my beautiful furry clients, and the kindness, love and support of my human clients. I've been off now since the third week in November, and it was only today, when I had cause to go back through my Facebook photos, that I felt the loss and sadness that comes with leaving something you love. I can remember every single groom. Every single dog. Every single conversation we had. The photos opened up a book of memories for me, that made be feel an overwhelming sense of loss. That's how much I care about your dogs. I'm not sure why it took me so long. Maybe it was the hope that one day soon I would be able to groom again. But sadly, I don't think that is the case 😢

Recovery wise, I am travelling well, and am where I should be at this point in the process. The operation removed a lot of damaged Achilles tendon and repaired a tear. So far, it has been a success but there is still a lot of swelling and pain and I have lost strength in my ankle and leg. I started rehab two weeks ago and have a 6-12 month journey ahead of me to fully recover strength and movement. I can't rush back, and I can't rush the process, as much as I want to! So, a positive prognosis but a long recovery.

My business is still for sale, and I am still hoping that someone will buy it soon, and that they can continue to groom your dogs. I will keep you posted of any developments. In the meantime, if you know a dog lover who would make a great groomer, put them in touch with me. It is a bargain just waiting to be snapped up.
