Our last post for the season and what a long and successful one it’s been!
NPHA being the last long haul for the team for the year (NCHA Futurity at Tamworth doesn’t count as we get to sit and watch lol)

NSW State State show hasn’t disappointed. The team are having the best time and a fabulous show, placing in almost every class they entered.. with the highlight of Brianna taking home the High Point Amateur Buckle!!! 👏👏Carol and Hudson aka BPH Lil Bit Southern placed reserve champion in the Ammy Jnr HUS, 5th Jnr HUS, 3rd AmAqha HUS, 6th in the HSE, 3rd Novice horse Ranch, and reserve champion select ranch. Brianna and Honey aka Annlee Assess me placing 5th in dressage and show hunter, 4th Amaqha HUS, 4th HSE, 2nd in Showmanship, and 4th in Amqha SMS, 1st Amqha Ranch, 1st Ammy Western Riding and 1 st Ammy Reining.
Brianna and Scooter aka DP Best Red Machine 3rd Ammy Horsemanship, 1st Amahqa Horsemanship, 4th Ammy Ranch, then looked after Lainey and Colten in the assisted and lead line.
Scruffy aka Third Time Lazy and Liz 2nd Amqha all age HUS, 3rd in the Open Walk Jog trail from 26, and 1st in the Senior Western Riding.

What a fun little show at Pioneer Country this for the team this weekend. Many thanks to Linda and the volunteers, committee and helpers for a well run weekend. As usual Saturday night’s dinner was a feast, and who doesn’t love a good raffle thank you Carol Elliot for organising. 😉 I was lucky enough to win the Open Trail sponsored by Vonda Kiley. Thank you! Congrats to the girls for a very productive show. Carol and Huddy getting their Ranch on, Brianna and Honey had a brilliant Western Riding pattern 👏👏👏Mr Reliable Scoots is such a dude and is such a good boy! Special mention to Alley and Boxer and Pete with Boofer, great to see you both doing well in your classes. Next stop NPHA 🤩🥂👏👏👏

Q26 National show did not disappoint! Our team had a fabulous show! Off to a shaky start blowing 2 tyres on the trailer thanking goodness for my travel companion John Steel, and the good looking nice smelling Luke from the Tyre Doctor in West Wyalong for getting me back on the road again. The weather in Tamworth has been hot, the Longyard menu great and now Sam and I are sitting watching his cutting horse Cuttabar Cole Duck compete in the Derby. It’s been a long couple of weeks away from home and strange to be left here without my show family, but very rewarding!
Special mention to my sister Helen for holding down the fort so Sam could fly up to drive home with me xx

Something a little different we headed to the VPHA Southern Spectacular for a midweek week show with the girls. Firstly a big thank you to the wonderful sponsors, the club, committee, helpers and judges for their amazing work it was a very friendly and well run event! It was a big couple of days showing with all the ponies giving it their all! Some excellent runs and results. Congratulations to you all, it was the perfect run in to Nationals. Special thanks to the major member in the background… Mick Ellis is always there when needed, with either a drink, a helping hand, a video, photo, a positive comment.. next stop Q 26

What a week! We’ve been away at the GV Summer Sizzler show and what a great show it was! Smooth sailing, our team showed their hearts out and the results speak for themselves! So many wins and places to name them all, but a highlight Tracey and Bailee won the feature non-pro trail, a great run and a beautiful buckle to show for it! Carol and Huddy had some good placings, as did Brianna with Scooter and Honey! Kelly and our littlest member Georgia also had an awesome show! Ivy is such a special mare!! Thanks goes to the GV committee for putting on a great show, thank you to all the wonderful workers. To the sponsors thank you for your dedication to this show. See you at the next one! What a weekend we’ve had.. Tracey and I headed down to Tonimbuk for the PQHA Spring Fling… taking the road less travelle...

What a weekend we’ve had.. Tracey and I headed down to Tonimbuk for the PQHA Spring Fling… taking the road less travelled (I did a wheel bearing on the way down) we ended up around 4 hours late, so no warm ups, we had some good placings on the first day with winning the feature showmanship under one judge, Select Hunter first and third, Tilly placing 2 x 2nd in the open walk trot, then 3 rd’s in the Novice Horse Hus, then 1st and 2nd in the Novice horse ranch. Scruffy decided he was fresh and decided a change over the lope pole was appropriate, then redeemed himself in the ranch and western riding! Not many photos as we were both busy back and forth to the arena. Big shout out to Kelly for helping me with trailer, and watching Ivy look after Georgia warmed my heart! Thank you to the hard working committee, competitors, judges and all the wonderful sponsors. Next stop Sizzler.

Berryliscous Q-96723 7yo Red Roan Mare 14.3-15hh
Berry has been in the broodmare paddock for the past few years creating some very quiet and versatile babies. She is a lovely quiet mare herself, easy to handle in every way. She is great to breed, AI or live cover, foals down without any issues and is a great mother.
Berry was broken in as a 2yo, and had been used as a school horse, and has done a bit of trail riding. She is empty atm. She would be an asset as a brood mare with her breeding, or put back under saddle.
Photo is recent with latest foal. Mare will be available as soon as foal is wean ed. Progeny can be viewed on farm also.
