Our last day of competition at Q24 saw Tracey and Bailee 6th in the Senior Horse Ranch and Scruff placing 2nd in the Novice horse Western Riding. I want to thank the AQHA for putting on a great show, with great numbers, friendly faces and great competition. Thanks to all of the wonderful sponsors, and last but not least thank you to our fantastic team! You should all be very proud of your achievements, as I am proud of you all.. Until the next time 🤩

Day for continued with Tilly taking home a 5th in the yearling lunge line, Karen and Boss 3rd in the 2yo Lunge and then Karen and Lou placing 3rd in the American Select Horsemanship.. Next up Trails

Day two of the Team comp.. Tracey and Bailee a very respectable 2nd in the Select HSE, Jasmine and Jerry 3rd in the Snr Youth HSE. Day three Tracey and Bailee a fantastic run for Reserve National Champion in the Select Showmanship, backing up with the National Champion American Select Showmanship, Karen and Louie placing 4th in the American Select Showmanship, 4th in the gelding class, and Boss got 6th in his halter class, and then another Buckle for the team with Jasmine and Jerry winning the Senior horse HIH! Day four and Tilly took out 3rd place in the Yearling Trail, Scruff did a decent run in the Junior Trail, but the pilot forgot to back!! Jasmine and Jerry finished 1st in the senior youth trail for another National title and buckle.. stay tuned for Lungeline, American Trail and American Select horsemanship this afternoon 🤩

First day of competition for the team at Q24 nationals.. some awesome results, and a couple of firsts 😉Jas and Jerry’s very first QH Nationals taking home the Youth Hack buckle, second in the youth dressage and 4th in the open hack 15 h and over, Scruffy’s first hack class for a 5th place, Tracey and Bailee taking home 5th place in the Amateur Show Hunter.. Hunters and Hunt seat tomorrow.. PS it’s a little wet here in Tamworth 😳

Another Celebration show done and dusted… there was good numbers even though the weather gods sent us steamy hot days, but the lid on the arena certainly helped to cool things a little. Thank you to the Big Valley committee and workers for their forward thinking, starting early both days. You all were amazing! The team had a pretty good hit out for Nationals and came home with great results. Jess and Kade Hp improver, Tracey with Bailee and Scruff Hp runner up Select Ammy. Sarah and Ni**et winning their showmanship, Scruff and I had some good trail runs, and our second ever (for the both of us) WR run… lots of homework, but we have to start somewhere 😉 Next stop Appy Nationals, then Q24….

Home from the All4One Summer Sizzler show, firstly a big thank you to all of the sponsors, committee and fellow competitors. The team had a great time at Tatura, we had HEAT, then storms, we were in shorts then jackets!
Many firsts! First Western Riding with Scruff (lots to work on lol) first show together for Linda and Larry (what a wonderful partnership developing), first Sizzler for Jess and Kade, first time Tracey and Bailee had to sit it out (bloody neighbours) and first Sizzler for miss Tilly. There were many placings. Congratulations to Julie and Nash and Terri and Louis, Jess and Kade, Karen and Louie, Linda and Larry, Tracey and Scruff, and little Tilly. A few candids for fun 🤩

As the year comes to a close and we settle down to enjoy Christmas with family and friends I reflect on the year gone, so much has been achieved with great clients and horses, great show results for all of our team, great friendships, babies (4 and 2 legs), a trip to the USA and reserve world champions for our Aussie YWC team to a special trip to the AQHA awards night for a very special award, and everything in between! I could go on lol! But instead I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and looking forward to starting up for another year in a couple of weeks.. 🥳🎄

Victorian State show was brief for the team, however there was plenty of places for the day. Tracey and Bailee Victorian State title champion Select Showmanship, Carol and Hudson Victorian State Halter Champions, Sarah and Ni**ett Reserve Victorian State Champion Novice Showmanship, Chockolicios Reserve Vic Champion Yearling Lunge, HIH and 3rd Yearling lead trail. Not a bad days work!

Home from a very successful start to the season with the GV Nifty show for the team. Congratulations and thank you to the GV committee and show team for a well run, fun, friendly show. Fantastic numbers with over 110 horses entered, the judges who had 3 BIG days (nearly 8 hrs of trails) and last but not at all least my girls! Too many wins and places to mention (the post would go on forever) Congratulations to Tracey Atkins with the beautiful Bailee and also a beautiful ride on the Scruff in thr Walk/Jog for the unanimous win under both judges! Jess McKee debuted with Kade for some great runs, Karen Drust and Louie looking a picture as usual with some good placings in big classes, Jas Brine and Jerry rode their hearts out and brought home the good, special mention to Julie Roberts on her unanimous win in the Novice Showmanship, you set yourself a goal, worked hard and nailed it, and Carol Ahern with little Huddy his first show was a bit mind boggling but he handled it well. Little Tilly thought the indoor was terrifying but held it together for some good results, Scruffy running his Junior events placed well in good company, all in all a great first show of the season!

Donny has had approximately 4 months breaking/training, and has started his life as a ridden horse, and has a decent foundation to go on with. He has been started on cattle, but lends himself to an all around pleasure/fun/trail riding type of horse. He is confident out on the trail and around dogs,....

Day Three of Summer Sizzler, while a few of us had a day off, the rest of us were up early in readiness for trails. Louie and Karen competing in Novice Ammy trail with a tidy run, then again in the Novice Ammy Pleasure this afternoon, Scruff and Liz 3yo trail, judge one 4th and judge two 5th.
