This little one is just the sweetest. She was a little bit nervous after going to another groomer but she settled and then was a little too relaxed which made it harder to groom parts as all she wanted to do was sleep

I have lots of clients that feed their dogs Dentastix for their teeth. You may want to read this article. Not only do they do nothing for your dogs teeth, they can be toxic.

One of my dogs won’t touch them, the other one will be instantly vomiting after eating them.

If you are looking for something to help with their teeth, look at natural options such as goat horn, deer antlers, raw bones.

This gorgeous old man is getting on in age so he’s all about comfort grooms now. The shorter we go the longer we can stretch out the time between grooms as it is a lot for the old ones. He’s just gorgeous to groom but finds it hard to stand for long at all so we do the best we can for the little fella without making him do what his body can’t handle. How cute is that face 🥰

Ever wonder what your dogs are like getting groomed. Well these 2 are very relaxed. 1 sleeping getting dried and the other sleeping waiting for his turn

I’m too busy to bath my own dog so this is what she gets 😂

If only every dog was as easy to dry their head and ears.

When a groom takes 2 hours, why not sleep for most of it.

Why are deshed so expensive? Because not only do they take so long to do this is the mess we have to clean up after your dog has gone which just took me another 40 minutes to clean.

The amount of hair 😳

I had a fur-nado today. If you’re wondering why on earth am I drying a dog that is dry it is to try and blow out as much built up undercoat as possible before the bath. This also separates the hair from the skin out in the hope to release some of the matting and makes it easier to penetrate the shampoo and conditioner in the bath to make sure the dog is totally clean. Clean up is not fun but it’s so fun to see the hair fly out. As you can see there is a lot of matting on her back legs and tail. She absolutely hates the brush so I have to try and get as much hair and mats out with out touching her. Once she realised the dryer wouldn’t hurt her she started to really enjoy it as it feels a bit like a massage.

She loves the dryer like this.

This is how I have to dry some dogs heads as they are either too scared or hate it that much. They generally tolerate this much better. It’s very slow compared to using the high velocity dryer and doesn’t straighten the hair very well but it gets them dry with less stress on your beloved dog.
